Being a nosy mechanical type, I open them up and check the guts. Most nowadays are using some sort of standard micro-switch.
Hint, check the specs on the marked on switch, it might be different than the external label. If you find they are using bendy brass strips for the contacts… get rid of it.

That would have been fun. It went out in the trash and hauled a few hours ago. Oh well, next time.
