15 year old seeds. Sleestack (DNA Genetics) x Suzy (Sativa hybrid)

It’s been great to see all of the info on popping old seeds on OG. Ahhhmazing! A big thanks to all of the contributors adding to the knowledge base. I super-appreciate you.
Now, let’s see if I can pull this off.

Cool, what methods will you be trying? I think oldest seeds I ever popped were 10 to 12 years old. I had about 50% turn into seedlings/plants.

I started with 15 seeds.

  1. Well drained ice cream bucket, fresh worm castings, dark, moist towel covering method found on OG.
  2. 1% hydrogen peroxide soak. 2A. Into commercial organic seed starting mix. 2B. Into coco coir/worm casting mix. 3B. Into inoculated soil. 3D. Into rock wool cube.
  3. Soak in GroMore’s Quick Start solution for 2 hours. Into coco coir.
  4. Soak in RO water at 5.8 and plant in soil.

Should not be a problem if they were stored correctly.
Not uncommon to germante 20 year old seeds with great results.
Good luck

Stored correctly would have been nice. They were in one of my camera bags for all those years. I know they were treated as well as my gear, which usually isn’t too bad. I had two tails pop out of 15 right away, but nobody has broken the surface of the soil yet.

2 Sleestack males were used to pollenate the Suzy clone.

A clone of this plant became the Sleestack mother. She was more aggressive than the monsters on Land of the Lost, for sure.

Basement pheno hunts aren’t ideal but we found a few interesting offspring.

I’m bringing it back just to see if it smells as weird as I remember. lol

Just curious, did you hop on one of the city bikes and ride around Amsterdam? I loved the lightly tinted mental clarity, enhanced colors, and jumpy/racy effects of Sleestack for biking, in particular. The only negative issue was trying to keep myself from stopping to look at all sorts of stuff- because it made everything seem so interesting.

There was many a j smoked back then mate, we was non stop morning until bed time, plenty of riding around and exploring. I love the city, i havent been for 5 or so years now and cant wait to return, it really is a magical place for our sort :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::v:
