I start out 1/4 strength as per instructions after 14 days of water to establish some roots.Then 1/2 strength after a week of 1/4. Then grow at full strength after 2 weeks of 1/2 strength . Go a couple weeks then flip and slowly start bloom into the mix.

Still in 16oz cups getting hand watered twice daily. Between the two, I have 8 tops. I think I finally got it dark enough for them. I’m 99% certain both are female now. I might see if that Lowryder2 pollen in the freezer is still good.

I may have to bow up and up pot these… none of them are pulling out of nutrient issues. That or I go double strength of what the bottle says for soil, I’m already at 50% stronger than directions say.

Don’t give up. If they are hungry feed em… I was really high feed for the sativa I ran in the cup. Double what a fully mature dragon blood in a 1 gallon took.

Alright, I flushed them with double strength (for soil). One I have high hopes for, the others may need to be moved up.

Can just a cutting soak up nutrients to bring it out of deficiencies and root? I might do some pruning and try it just to help the plant along. Removing some of the bulk on top might help it use what nutrients it’s getting better.

So about how long after defoliation is recommended before flipping to 12/12?
I’ve found it’s a bit harder to do but yes, you can try that. My current plant was the same way when I took it off the donor looking rather rough. I was able to get it rooted nurse it through and get it happy again… like I said just took a bit longer.

I guess what I was trying to ask, can I soak a cutting in a nutrient solution for a day or two and then root it. Would that help or is it able to take up the nutrients through the stem properly?

That I’m not sure about it might at that I clone everything the same way, rough looking or not. Cut, rooting hormone, and into starter cups. Some make it some don’t.

Hey @itza419 can you walk me through your setup? Is the bucket you have your mini bubbler in the 5 gal to keep your mini bubber cool? If you have a link that explains it would be cool.
