Sorry for not keeping everyone updated on the raskal berries. Today I confirmed hes a dude… I threw him in the flower tent about a week ago after removing all the larger fan leaves.
I was going to forfeit because I messed up on my training but I still wanted to flower it in the solo cup to see if I can pull it off. Well here he is…
my plants now keep getting leaves that show yellowing or spots of necrosis. I think I’m going to have to up pot them both and just bloom them. There’s no way I can keep them watered manually during bloom anyway. Plus It’ll make it easier and faster to get to making seeds .
I have to confess that I have not changed the nutes but only one time since October 13th. I have a continuous pH meter and when it drifted past 6.5 I changed the nutes and water once a week.
You really need to water them at least 3x daily during flower, If not 4x. If you put them in a 2x2 plastic bin, you can feed by wicking…cuts down on the work load imo.
I’ve though about pulling the root ball out and put some wicks down in there. But as it is, there is no visible soil left when I pulled one out and transplanted this morning. One more left to transplant. I’ll give it a try another round, without such a long veg time hopefully lol. I did over veg though due to nutrient learning curve. But hey, at least this way I can comfortably make some seeds with the manifold plants instead of waiting for their clones.
@Joshj Have you seen my set-up in detail? It is growing hydroponically. It has a usable 1.75 gallon res before it goes dry. i top it off usually 1.25 gallons a week. evaporation and intake.
Too many broken branches on too many people it seems . But I had to since I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the watering during bloom, next time I’ll do a wick system or something. Really had high hopes with my training going so well. Maybe I’ll keep posting as bloom goes on but can’t count me.
