Dont top that plant. Does she live outside? Is she flowering? If not let her get a little healthier. Topping would slow her down significantly. I dont think 2 is always better or even bigger than 1. Pretty sure time is time and plant matter is plant matter. 2 identical plants 1 topped 1 not. For the topped plant to weigh as much as the control would take 2-4 weeks of extra time. If they’re equal in every way the topped plant will never ‘catch up’. This is me rambling i am not an expert.

Those skinny leaves look soo nice rn.

Keep up the great work

I agree paps… after seeing the way you train plants i’ll always be topping and creating a bush rather than a tree… good read brother…

Also i thought cutting pauses plant for the most 2 days… fimming is a 1 day pause… etc… right paps? Have trained plants taken longer to build bud? Id think they just work harder right?

@Cummings420
Im excited to see what you bring next… your end product looks frosty as fuck…

Welcome to the addiction of growing :+1:

To top or not to top that is the question

It will slow down the plant a bit ,
but I feel topping, lst, super cropping and scrog is necessary to increase yield .
In a small space , especially if you have hight restrictions it’s a necessary evil lol

I normally allow the plant to grow 5 or 7 nodes then I’ll top it at the 3 rd or 4 th node
This allows the trunk a chance to beef up a bit

I also believe in pruning the branches that will not amount to much ( I do this as a major cleanup at the week before flip )

Thanks for the explanation… i still love the mainlining you do … damn man just perfect!

So what is the trade… 2 or 3 weeks for like an extra half lb ?? @Papalag say we are talking a 5x5 space… filled

You can actually do better with less plants with the Octopots

Transplant and let it be a week before you too no need to add more stress

Larfy buds are the bottom more airy buds… less potent sometimes etc… @Cummings420

Probably cause the heat I’m suspecting

It all falls on whether they get light… so if its a fuller grow… you’ll get some larfy buds sometimes… like my clone grow… will likely have some larfy bud at the bottoms because its such a packed full tent… (not as much light penetration )
