Remember, you can always store it in 7.0 solution. They make storage solutions but if you don’t have it or ran out 7.0 liquid is a good option for storage on the PH pen. Keep the pen in liquid Storage solution or 7.0 solution. Never let it dry out and replace your liquid It does evaporate, etc… Cheers !!!

For fun, you could super crop them up high !!! And then go down a few nodes and make the top cut. Good practice lol !!!

Don’t be afraid to get in there and snap them… SuperCropping is a good technique one everyone should learn. It takes a small amount of practice to get good at it. There is definitely a small amount of foreplay with the stem before snapping when done correctly. Don’t be afraid to get in there and crush the stem before you snap it. The beauty of this technique is the plants recover very quickly sometimes overnight. The downside is it’s very temporary. You’ll have to continue this process thru early flower sometimes . You can really get carried away with this technique. Some guys are really good. Turn one plant into an absolute monster with no trellis or supports. Cheers !!!

I stole this from Royal Queen seeds, but it’s a quick rundown…

When you top, make sure to leave some stem (I try to leave at least 1/2" of stem)… It inevitably dries up a bit and if you cut too close to the node, it’s more likely to pull the stem in 2.

I have some lst benders i printed that may help you out man.

If you want them short and bushy I would just pinch out the very top growing tip (the apical meristem) rather than cut them back by a few nodes.

My thoughts exactly no need to cut lower than first node.

Do you mean the last node? If you cut below the first node there would be nothing left of the plant, just a sump of the stem.

Yes my mistake. I meant the tippity top of the plant
