1st grow since Nam! Auto Flower Tangerine Dream and Carmelicious

12 days in to my first grow in a long time. My first serious grow I should say. I went the auto flower route with Tangerine Dream and Carmelicious. If you got any pointers and tips with autos I would love to hear! I’ll be updating regularly along the way.

The setup:
2’x2’x55” Marshydro tent
Marshydro TS 600wLED (only 100w true output)
4” in-line fan max CFM 200
6” fan inside tent
3 gallon fabric pots
Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Platinum Growers Mix

So I’ve been watering them everyday about 50ML and I water around the plants circling them. A circle just outside of their canopy to get those roots to stretch. I also mist them a couple times a day. Should I start watering heavier? Can I add nutrients soon? I’ll be going with all organic nutes from the Coast of Maine line. Also, I have the light about 3’ away. Do you think I should bring it in closer? I was thinking they were autos so they would grow so quick that stretching might not be an issue and have them grow to the light.

Where is the Tangerine Dream from? I grew out one from Growers Choice and it did very well for me.

I haven’t used Coast of Maine but am intrigued enough to give it a shot in the future, local grow shop owner is all about it. From what I’ve seen of their blends there’s plenty of good stuff in their that will sustain them for awhile on it’s own (like minimum a month). You can feed before then, specially with an auto, but 12 days is a bit early in my mind. Someone else may have a different opinion and experience on it though so just my $.02 and not gospel.

I have a tent same size as yours it’s going to be packed when the plants get up a bit
You need plenty of air going through the tent when the plants start to flower or you will get mold

My small tent I just took this pic 3 ak47
1 sweet tooth auto 1 strawberry truffle

Just waiting to see any of the ak47 females lol

Looking good to me. Imo, I would stop spraying the leaves past seedlings (what’s everyone else doing?). I don’t water on a schedule other than water thorough when they are dry, gauged by the weight of the container. A bit of calmag w your watering possibly. I have some autos out now. Love to watch the grow! Keep at it

Edit,

Since Nam! Shit man, what took you so long?

Appreciate it! Haha I had a little grow when I was a teenager, and when growing pot was looked at like you were making meth. My state is legal now so this is my first serious grow. Back then I half assed it.

Yea, I think it’s a little early. I’m just too excited haha. Maybe wait till 5 leaf sets at least. They’ll be 2weeks in a couple days. Harvest is supposed to be 8-10weeks.

My Tangerine Dream is from MSNL Seeds.

You may find 8-10 weeks of flowering after say… up to 4 weeks of veg. Some autos will start to flower real quick… Dont cut yourself short in the end by setting a finish date… this would simply be a time reference and an ever moving target. Get yourself a good magnifier and watch your tricomb development, then you choose the finish date.

This is good advice too. A ton of seedbanks are guilty of exaggerating the speed of autos. Some leave out the veg stage completely, others just quote the fastest time one of their best testers growing in hydro managed, some do both!

Good thing is it’ll show when it shows and just feed for veg before it’s obvious and switch to feeding for bloom when it’s there, leave the light alone the whole damn time.

Looking good dude :sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses:. I am really interested to see how your autos do…I have some GSC auto seeds I’ve been setting on. Wont be long and your house will be filled with that wonderful aroma of a pound of fresh bud every time the tent flap is opened…lololol

Was your Tangerine Dream auto?

Yeah sorry I thought I had responded when you answered me but it looks like I didn’t. I don’t have any experience with MSNL but I believe I’ve heard good things. Mine was an auto but I broke a bunch of the “rules” of auto growing kind of just to see and it turned out pretty good. Good enough that this pic of it is my most posted image on here lol

Here I never posted this one, gives scale

Gonna be bushing them out. Pinned down the fan leaves today to get the nodes some more light!

Thank you. Gonna bush them out just like in this technique. Think it’s called the manifold technique?

Any vets that need beans look me up. Got plenty to share.

Showing some hairs! 16days into the grow. Female, or too early to tell? They are feminized but you never know.
