1st time growing diary

Exactly what I think. I just hope it happens soon. Guerrilla style is stressful, you know, and the worst can happen at any time.

Just to get this thread back on track, I will update you guys of how are the girls doing. I’m currently on vacation, that’s why I havent upload pics, and my friend forgot to take pics last week but he did it yesterday. The girls are huge comparing to the last photos, they have already around 1.5m, the bigger ones and they are showing signals of flowering already.

The 3mm tubes are showing more problems, and One of them was fully appart from the rest. We already thought about a fix, and we will change the tubes to new ones and revest them with some strong black duct tape to avoid this small holes problem.

I would not know, but I can only imagine, people animals, bugs, weather, diseases and fungi are all things to consider when going guerrilla. I guess the only way to be less stressful is if the crop is far from civilization. Even so you still have the other factors.
That’s why I don’t grow, I just watch, just like porn haha

Above you have some pics of a guerrila in portugal. Despite being a guerrila and the plants only started in june/july they are looking good for me. What do you think? I’m still inexperienced especially with photoperiod plants.

They look nice and happy. But I wouldn’t know best. All I know is what I have read. There are far more people on here that can help you. Good luck and hope you get the results you wanted.

Peace

I didnt have read your message when I wrote mine. Do you really manage to resist it? You really have to try it man, maybe if security worries you just go indoor but then the investment and the people living with you might be a problem. Hope you can grow in the future. It’s really satisfying watching your girls growing.

Guys, I owe you an apology for disappearing without saying anything but I got really unmotivated (idk if this is the right words, I felt a little bit sad and I didnt want to think about it) after what happened to the plants again. I’m almost sure it was another “grower” that did this because the spot had a really hard acess through a hill and the “timing” it was cut, was almost perfect. Here are some pics of it right after finding the plants cut.

I still saw the plants with flowers but I don’t have any pics of it, sadly, and it was only in a first stage.
Now, everything is settling down, I already moved to a new place, I will have acess to more spots too, and I’m slowly getting back that motivation to keep growing. I already checked some places but I still have several months to do it, so this time I will make sure I have atleast one really good spot.
For now, I only took this pics of the spots, but soon I will have more.

I won’t be really active for now but probably around december/january I will be back 100%, and I will start preparing the stuff for the new season. If I manage to receive some seeds from the preservation project I will make sure to grow them next year and I still have the maui sunshine from @Sebring to grow, I didn’t manage to try it this year since it was one of the plants that was stolen but no worries I still have many seeds to grow something to smoke. I am also looking forward to try a 100% sativa strain since I can’t find any in Portugal so if you have any tips for a sativa strain with euphoric/uplifting effects that will finish before early/mid november, please tell me
Again I’m sorry for being away guys and I hope you understand. Good smoke to you all.

Sorry for your loss. I can understand your frustration. Looking forward to your next guerilla attempt.

Maybe try a little indoor plant to pass the time?

Hi allotment good to talk to you again my friend. I really like to grow outdoor and for now I don’t have the money to invest in a indoor setup but I talked with a friend who’s living in amsterdam and he told me he wants to start a indoor project so I will probably try to introduce him here in the forum for him to get some help, because he’s spending way too much ahah so growing is the way. I also have other friends in portugal starting indoors and I sometimes visit them but yeah for now, there wont be no indoors for me. Maybe in the future.

I’m doing guerrilla, and right now I’m trying to avoid using fences, I plan to make my next grow look as natural as possible, so even if some old man passes by, he might not recognize it or think it’s just a normal plant. That spot where we used chicken wire is gone, so my next grow will be almost sure in portuguese countryside, probably 40m by car to reach the spot but we still have to do a lot of scout in the area. Gonna update you guys with some pics probably around january/february that’s when I will have more time to go scout the area.
