Interesting… does that have any chance of passing?
It would be great news if it did.

The act allows an adult (someone 21 years of age or older) to personally use, possess and transport marijuana, but no more than 60 grams of it. It would also allow for the personal cultivation of no more than 12 marijuana plants in an adult’s home, as long as they’re in a secure area.

The highlighted sentence makes me smile. As it should be written. Good luck, TN.

Not sure myself, but I like to hope so! All the other states should catch up.

I wouldn’t count on it man and as a guy that lives to your southerly neighbor, we both know which political party controls things and they will just drag their ass even if small legislation goes through. My state can’t even get basic gambling or the lottery through bc of the religious right influence so cannabis is slated for 2050 haha jk. I should mention we’ve had a medical marijuana bill get passed roughly 3 years ago but all of the parties involved keep bickering and honestly it’s just for cannabis tablets you can’t actually possess or use flower let alone grow it. Complete waste of time and money grab from a bigger agricultural groups wanting to get in on the action

Hey man as long as you can grow your own discreetly that’s all one needs anyways… Been doing it for many years now. They actually had a couple of families with children suffering from seizures and epilepsy speak to the medical marijuana legislation in my state pretending they were going to do something about it smh. I really feel sorry for those folks wish I could get in contact bc they mentioned having to go to other states just for medicine so their kids can function.

But I’ve said it a million times on here and other places that decriminalization is the answer… Just let responsible adults grow and use whatever the hell they want instead of punishing them. Recent data suggests the majority of Americans are completely okay with cannabis even if not consuming it.

I agree, but it’s all about the money!

Ya it’s a money issue. The powers that be feel entitled to tax every plant you grow in one way or another. I’m in CA. Even though we do have home grow laws, it’s fairly restrictive on plant count numbers and selling clones requires it’s own special license. I wish it were treated like tomatoes

You know it’s all about the Benjamin’s baby. Richest man in the world running chit

We should start a church of online members. Let them infringe on our religious beliefs and see how quickly laws get changed. Otherwise its lawsuit time for religious persecution. We use the sacred herb just as catholics use holy communion. Body and blood kinda deal
