I think root mass has more impact on overall health and resistance to drought, disease, etc than it does on big booming flowers. Like folks grow monsters in 6x6inch rockwool cubes. Pretty sure it was firstcav that just pulled 4oz from a .7 gallon pot. Maintaining moisture levels, ec and all that become more difficult, but doable! Small feets are just needy
