If you want the mutant leaves, go freakshow or supafreak. The berry freak, menthol skunk, limepop, Rick James etc that were released this year all show weird leaves, but not the pinnate form of the originals. I’m working on crossing supafreak back into them to try and get the pinnate form back.
Mountain top mint from HSC, which doesn’t share lineage with the freaks, is actually showing more pinnate leaves than the newer freak strains from canna research company.

I dont mind paying $10 for well worked stable fems because that shit takes extra time and work but yeah otherwise $4-$5 seems more reasonable.

It’s just one way one can launder money. Not saying it is in this case.
But you could make lots of money selling herb on the black market,
start a company, then buy seeds from yourself with the money.

here is a story that we should all pay attention to.
nothing but a story use it how you want:
one day jack was smoking on some kind bud. jack among many at the time where deadheads. jack toured the states and followed the dead around. jack would come home from time to time selling various strains and my favorite part at the time the acid. now jack stays home for a bit to get some money together and in the meantime jack starts a crop. now jack knows he will be back for harvest, he also knows he has to hit the road again cause there is another show down in st louis where jack will met back up with arron and sally and the dead family. they will share strains and what not, who knows, but the point is when jack was home selling the kind bud he knew it was good and he got good money for the bud at the time, now we fast forward and jack grew out of the dead head stage and hes my age except for one thing he thinks he has a pack of golden seeds, but this is not the case, you see jack took way too much acid and it affected his judgment on trying to sell seeds for that much. what is jack thinking cause jack seemed ok to me but now i say he doesnt know jack…if you buy the seeds your a fool and thats not from jack thats from me

Right? That’s what I’m thinking. Even if it is better than JOTI, BOG, Bohdi, or any of the other popular breeders in this neck of the woods… how much better? .08%, 1.02% better?
And it’s still just weed, that gets you high.
It ain’t gonna make a magic unicorn appear and grant you three wishes.
And amazing folks on this forum freely passing top notch genetics around to our brothers and sisters every hour of every day, the way it should be.
I’d rather grow anything from @Sebring, @lefthandseeds, @ReikoX, @Mr.Sparkle, @50State (list goes on and on) than whatever is in that $20k pack of seeds.

I was looking at their packs just cause? You know must be I’m missing out on something these turds are charging $500 for 12 packs of 7 SEVEN fucking seeds in a pack of Regs for $300+it’s like playing Russian roulette with your money and time. Straight

Don’t forget…those are just the ones general seed bank customers can buy. They have a whole extra set of stuff that only “pre-approved” customers are allowed to buy that run up to $1k for a pack.

As much as I love this amazing plant; and I’m ridiculously happy to be involved with a community that has, or has a way to get, nearly any strain on the planet…
at some point you have to think, “It’s just weed, man.”
$20,000 (C? - Canadian?) - doesn’t matter. That’s a lot of money for SEEDS.
I could pick up a bigger harvest off the top shelf of the local dispo for that kind of money…

only way this would be justifiable would be if they themselves went through and found landraces, worked them and then sold them to other breeders. But this whole NFT bubble is crazy either way. That’s what the price was for isn’t it? The NFT rights and the seeds went with it.

well i could see paying that much for a never ending harvest. you grow one seed and come harvest it just keeps sprouting new buds in the place of the ones you just cut. every new but would be ready within 12 hours, perfect each time. then yes. your harvest would end when you got tired of smoking the same strain

Totally agree.
And wouldn’t it suck to get an ounce of fire from a friend that blows away Rise or whatever marketing name they give the other strains? - "But, but but - I spent a crap-ton of money! Why is theirs better??? 
How great does a strain need to be to spend that on it?
IMO I’d want to stain my shorts every time I hit it. 
Maybe a strain that does the dishes, or actually saves me money… 
As far as land-race; I would want pre-historic genetics for that price — some sort of dino-weed!

Wow thats the highest ive heard for a pack lol what the hell where they smokin coming up with that price. Ive always been intrested in the oringinal elephant heard some legendary storys from my old man think a pack of that was 2000 dollars but havent found a trusty place to get them.

As I recall it was an auction for the NFT + the 1 of 1 collectible seeds. GGG only set the starting price, which IIRC was $1k.
