My wife and her mother love that stuff. It’s not for me, but then I didn’t grow up eating it, so…

They also love eel. I can eat about two bites of it, then I’m done :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Menudo - Boiled cow stomach, feet and hominy.
Cabeza - Mexicans don’t throw that cow skull away. Very tender.
Tripas- Uhh, we don’t throw away the small intestines either.

I had hominy and it made me think of minature matzo ball soup. the cook was vegetarian and omitted the meat … only in Haight Ashbury :rofl:

Never tried lemons and salt, lemon slices and sugar yes might just have to give it a try. I’m not a big salt lover tho
