2020 Cannabis with Meesh

Also meant to say, if a body high is present. I generally prefer a heavy, tired relaxed effect than a buzzing feeling and I also prefer a more uplifting head high that brightens my mood or makes me laugh easily. So yes, boring is my consensus here as well

I would agree, the hype is not really warranted on her, good smoke but nothing special.

The new beast of a toy is assembled. Gonna knock out tilling the bed this week . Itā€™s actually really light and compact. Only weighs like 20 pounds

So, I have 2 gas cans with old gas in them. The biggest one is dog knows how old and the 2nd one is a year old. Dad says just put a little in your car here and there. Well, I worry about that, so Iā€™m trying to figure out how to dispose of it while everything is shut down and get new gas to fire up the tiller. Does anyone think 3/4 of a gallon of old gas would be terrible for my car? Just the year old gasā€¦ I need at least one empty right now.

typical issues with gas is more where its sitting and can gum up things, but old gas diluted with enough fresher stuff and only 3/4 of a gallon, youā€™ll be fine, drove my one car around on 9 month old gas the other day ;), cause i got it back on the road

Thanks! Dad is a wealth of good knowledge, but I needed a 2nd opinion on that one! My car is my life blood. lol

@Meesh One problem us Californianā€™s face is ethanol in the gas & thatā€™s why I recommended the pre-mixed fuel-oil for your tiller. Ethanol absorbs moisture from the air & itā€™s very problematic for equipment that is used at irregular intervals(i.e. mowers, saws).

Thereā€™s ā€˜Stabilā€™ fuel stabilizer for storage(auto parts store, etc.).

In other words that old shit gas ainā€™t so great but better than nothing. :joy_cat:

This tiller requires a 50:1 mix. Already have 2 stroke oil. Itā€™s all good. :grinning: Only filling it in small amounts so the gas doesnā€™t sit in the machine too.

Finally got the soil amendments ordered. Played phone tag with the guy from AG Labs. We were both working from home so I was in my garden and he was in his. lol He says that we donā€™t have to swap any dirt. I have to add like 30 lbs of their transplant mix which is filled with microbes that will eat the excess nutrients. Only problem is my water. Iā€™m gonna need to buy some giant trash cans or rain barrels to fill up with tap water and evaporate chlorine so I donā€™t kill them all. Since after the next month, it wonā€™t rain for the rest of the year, so that type of hand watering is impossible to maintain with an acre of land. Any suggestions on some sort of pump and what size that I could use with say 30 gallon barrels or trash cans?

Tmw the man and I are gonna till the patch, when the amendments arrive, I will switch the blades to cultivation and pull up new weed and grass sprouts and cultivate all of the minerals in about 3 inches or so.

Iā€™d just buy dechlorinator for that scale project. :fish:

And IME, it doesnā€™t make a difference unless brewing microbes.

Getting closer I guess. Now I wait for the minerals to arrive. Once they do, they will get tilled in again and Iā€™ll probably get some seeds started. Right now it seems unseasonable cool here in Cali. Anyone remember when I started them last year? For some reason I think it was April 1st.

Thats kool,April 1 is my traditional harvest day down under!

I looked back on my 2019 grow thread. I started them April 4th. That was more than adequate for the 8 - 10 footers I got. Even if I were to start them later or earlier, I donā€™t think there would be much difference in growth. Flower is really when they leap and bound anyway.

The cool thing about the internet is that I can watch the grows on the southern hemisphere and vice versa when we are in our down time.

Forgot to mention, as soon as I get the amendments in Iā€™m gonna start all my companion plants. Pretty much gonna line the edges of the whole bed with nasturtiums and some special marigolds I bought that kill bad nematodes. They are called Guardian. They should be pretty established by the time the cannabis goes in the ground

Use to use nasturtiums but they spread too much and snails luv to live in them here, will have a look for marigolds next season.

I get snails now. Really early in the season and Iā€™ve already killed them all off, but that is pretty much the point of companion plants. Theyā€™ll get the slugs and aphids instead of your cannabis. Sacrificial plants
