2020 Cannabis with Meesh

Okay you guys… this is not Blue Dream. It was like a totally different strain fresh dried. This cured plant is sleepy and narcotic. None of the BD race, no heart rate increase that I expect. Although still fairly subtle in flavor, it’s like smoking a blueberry. I would call this an Indica in a blind test. I like it, but its not the medicine that I expect when I smoke it. The taste is lovely, but this is clearly a blueberry plant. I think the genes split in the twins. Too bad I couldn’t separate them at birth, I’d probably have a whole haze plant as well.

So, Im trying out the mystery bud from @MidwestMover. He doesn’t know what strain it is. lol Umm…It’s a really airy fluffy bud it smells heavily of cucumber and mint to me. Just a fresh cool smell. So far, it’s super harsh. Coughing out a lung. I just started the joint, I probably need to take smaller hits as this one is more menthol like. I get a cool taste after smoking like mint does. Reminds me a lot of my Bruce Banger. Whatever this is, it’s def a hybrid. Feels almost 50/50 or 60/40 sativa maybe. I’ve got a slightly elevated heart rate with a major body high. It’s flowing through my body pretty good. Actually heating me up, temp wise. I had to take my sweater off. The head high is outwardly focused, psychedelic and sativa like. Whatever this minty like terpene is, its tricky for me to smoke, but I enjoy it anyway. It shares the same trait as my Bruce Banger plant. All I can say is menthol. Murder on my lungs, but I love the cool exhale like mint. Floaty and slight race to it. I have to take baby hits or choke. Man, this is so similar to Bruce, they probably both have a kush or diesel in their lineage. I actually really dig this one, once I got used to the way it hits. A few mins in and I think it is some kind of kush hybrid

EDIT- 15 mins into this high and its a creeper. It ramped up A LOT. Very tingly body high, probably good for pain. Once I was done hacking up a lung, I started taking little baby hits and my lungs and sinuses actually feel opened up now. This shit is fire. Im really high right now. So far in a good way and the heavy tingling is not flipping me out, so that’s good. I just keep thinking kush…

Had a visit from my lady grower friend from the high desert. She had a much more successful year than I did. She raked in about 19 lbs. More like my grow last year. She brought me a shit pot of her goods. Last year it was the opposite. lol She had a shit growing year and mine was great. lol Her grows have improved. That stokes me out. I sent her home with a few of my strains that she didn’t already grow. lol We share a lot of our seeds, so… She’s a gg4 and big time cookie lover though. We differ there. Since she is in a dry climate she can grow indicas outdoors however unlike me. So I’ve got quite a few indica or indica dom varieties now.

I didn’t even know where to start as far as sampling as the pile of strains she brought me is huge. So, I literally did an eeny meeny miny mo… and ended up rolling Chemdawg x GG4… Umm… The buds on this one have a airier sativa like structure. Oddly enough, it smells almost identical to the UFS 18. Lemon /Lime when you break it up. Darker green buds with dark red hairs. Increased heart beat, slight race actually making my hands tremble. But not anxiety inducing. Pretty stony. I’m baked after 1/4 of the joint. More inward focused high, not sure this would be a good one for me long term, but once in awhile. She let’s hers all go to amber and this is kinda couch lock but with the tremble heart race thing so it’s not my perfect high, but I could see one of my men really digging it. No major psychotropic effects, mostly body heavy. Slight chem top note I can pick up, but I do get that gg4 chocolate bottom note very succinctly. More chocolately than anything. Not my favorite terp profile, but I could see this strain being greatly loved by some. I’ll give it a 7 rating on my personal scale.

I know I’m geeky with my strain reviews, but it amuses me so bear with me. lol

If for no other reason would read your log for those. Even though I’m sure we may not favor the same strains. I look to yours to see where my own reviews lag and try where I can to hit some of the points you mention. Just not that good at describing the affects

Damn! I’ve been exposed to the rona. 5 people at my client’s have it. One of which, I work closely with. My client is going to reimburse me for a rapid test. I’ll go tomorrow. They are saying 1 in 4 people in Cali have the virus now. Let’s hope I’m not one of them.

Good luck Meesh! That sucks. At least they’re paying for the testing and everything. Hope you don’t have it!

Meesh becareful and watch for the dry cough. It was almost a year ago now dec 21/19 i was rushed to hospital with an asthma attack.I was unable to breath and after 36hrs in hospital i developed this dry cough with clear phlegm. After a ct scan and lung xrays i was diagonosed with an unknown upper mystery respitory infection.Spent 17days in ICU and was even incubated great way to spend Christmas and new years.During my time in hospital there was a minimum of 5 code blues a day just on my floor.People were flat lining like crazy. After the damage it did including ruining my left lung i still struggle to feel and breath normal again.

There were no warning signs i went to bed feeling fine and woke up winded. Then it just intensified as it took hold in me.Please be careful and diligent in monitoring it.

Yeah I’ve often wondered how many people had it without actually knowing back in the beginning… apparently were in the 2nd wave now… Belgium in 3rd… who knows where this shit is going…

I think I had it as well, and I heard a lot of people say the same thing. Like back in February before it was even said to be spreading. I’ve been doing the Vitamin D and B but gotta grab some C. Our county is rural and we kept it to 29 confirmed cases until November and we picked up over 200 in the first 11 days of the month. So, I’m limiting my exposure. It’s really bad north of me towards Denver.

I had to chuckle… lol… you must have been writing as you were experiencing it all. I have a haze strain almost finished so I may be in the same boat in a while. I haven’t had any crazy weed in a while. I had a Colombian Gold x Malawi Gold that doesn’t effect me at all so my tolerance may just be bruised. I used to get a panic attack almost from some older weed. I remember it all very well.

Prayers and vibes sent for your immune system. Stay inside or at home as much as you can. That shit is everywhere now and we only have a few months to go, hopefully, for the vaccine. Another one is seeking approval tomorrow and would triple the current supplier so it may start to happen quickly. I hope so. peace

I mean it is kind of hard to differentiate for me. Most of the time I’m sure my heart rate was thru the roof anyway as I kept checking the rear view for a tail after I left. But hell that may be somewhat induced by having 10 year felony that stinks to high heaven oozing from your sock. Or just the rush from having an ounce when you have been out for 3 days and you are high as f***

This has zero to do with cannabis, but I wanted to share a true story I watched yesterday with you all. It really touched my soul. Some of you may remember some from the news a few years back.

This older British couple got kidnapped off of their boat by Somali Pirates and held for ransom. Well, they were just ordinary people with no kids and very little family left, but a brother and sister in law (or vice versa). Anyway, the pirates were asking for millions of dollars for the safe return of this couple, so the brother liquidates all of his assets and the ransomed couples assets and negotiates with the pirates for all the money they have in the world, 440,000 dollars. The pirates agree, so they have the money dropped by plane. The pirates receive the cash, but call back and say that they want more or they are gonna kill the couple. At this point, the brother and sister in law are beside themselves because they don’t have anymore money. That was their life savings. So they have to return to Britain with nothing and the thought that they got their family killed. Anyway… a whole year passes since they snatched these people and no one has done a thing to help them. Not the government, no one.

Here comes the soul touching part…

So on the one year anniversary of this couples kidnapping, the British news does a small blurb about it and mentions that the couple was being held in a certain region of the Somalian mainland. A random, now British citizen, once a Somalian refugee sees the story on the news and realizes that they are being held in the region where he was born and that these pirates would be part of his tribe as they call it. He doesn’t know the pirates personally, just that they are part of his community. He doesn’t know the kidnapped couple either, just a random British-Somali guy. He decides that this is unacceptable and he is gonna go get these people back from the pirates. Doesn’t tell his family what he is up to as not to worry them and makes it his mission. So he goes to Somalia that same day, starts contacting the community outreach programs of his tribe, so he can talk to the pirates. He calls the brother out of the blue and says that he’s gonna get them back with no more monetary exchange. The brother is like “yeah right, who the hell is this dude and how is he gonna help” and takes it with a grain of salt. Well this guy ends up on the phone with the pirates through the Somali community and tells them that many of their tribe (family and friends) were taken in by Britain as refugees and that it wasn’t okay to keep these British people. The pirates tell the guy that he can see the couple if he goes alone with no phone, no tracking and no weapon. So he does it. He said he was absolutely terrified, but he went anyway and they let him take the couple home. The man accomplished this with mostly phone calls in 2 days btw… while the U.S. govt shouted about these pirates as well as the British govt and media but never did a damn thing about it.

That story choked me up. I doubt they exalted this brave, kind and noble man on the news. It probably was barely mentioned. He deserves an award or something. Such an amazing story of human kindness. Not enough people in the world like him.

I remember that couples ordeal and it was on the news here when they were freed … was not aware of the whole back story behind how or why they got freed… figured it was by government hand. That’s crazy and pretty sad knowing their family was financially crippled in the process. I bet they didn’t get a cent from their government either …
