2020 Cannabis with Meesh

This one also has some twisted and weird mutated leaves here and there. Did yours have that too? This one is def a freak. lol

I kind of love it in a way. This year I got my first twin and that weird leaf thing. 2 different plants. It’s interesting to see weird shit on plants that you’ve never seen before.

No i didnt have the twisting leaves but as the plant gets bigger they can generally sort themselves out and get a bit more uniform

I was sure this GDP was a female and it turned out to be male - and a great male at that

I have experienced that too!!
I figured it was ‘just me’. Crazy munchies for a month - then… gone! So… it was a real thing!

I have seen several plants over the years have a mutation on the second set of leaves and then grow out of it. For the ones I have had females and grown all the way out I loved them. Some with a 3rd set of leaves. Some with only a single mutated leaf like ‘the Ducksfoot’

For the one that did not grow out of it’s mutation it was eventually found to be undesirable and destroyed.

Think of your garden as the Meesh’s Ark of Weed-- there’s no room for gimps! throw them overboard or the boat will sink!

Unless your boat is all lonely & empty-like. :joy:

:evergreen_tree: whatever floats your boat :herb:

To be quite honest, I don’t have a lot of experience with Indicas, so it’s possible the ones I have could be all males and that’s how they grow. I am worried about the UFS and Cackleberry’s though, they all are tall with far node spacing, exactly how my one male sunshine daydream looked last year. Dad can live without the cackleberry, but I’ll be bummed if I can’t grow out a UFS.

start a couple more just in case and if you have females you can give someone a wonderful gift of small seedlings - if not you will have a second possiblility of a small female UFS harvest to at least try

Sadly ‘diesel’ evokes the smell of kerosene. Has to do with some early '80s stuff managed to bypass the incinerator after confiscation I was told. :frowning:

Shit they call ‘diesel’ I had in the last decade smelled more like tolulene and could possible double as jet fuel.

Funny, folks who have spent a lot of time around diesel say the plant smells like diesel. To me, it smells like cat pee. lol

So these are the special “Guardian” marigolds that I planted as companions. This variety is supposed to kill any bad nematodes in the soil. I’m floored by how big they are

Woah! I’ve planted regular marigolds in my veggie gardens before, but have never seen one that size!!!

Right?! The plant is huge, the flower stems are long, but the actual flowers are really small.

The plants in the ground have developed the massive dinner plate size fan leaves of full grown plants now. The containers plants getting taller, but by no means in the same league as the ground plants. I’m realizing why I have soil tests and dole out that paper for proper minerals and amendments now. No matter how good your container soil, it just can’t compare to the microlife of good old fashioned balanced ground soil.

According to my calendar reminder, today is time for another aspirin foliar, my only non organic ingredient. This will be the 2nd one. I will continue foliars until flower then water in the aspirin thereafter this year. Last year I only carried it through veg. Hoping for max immunity boosts. Sun is still shining out there. A few more hours and I’ll knock that out. Tomorrow is BT Friday. Found a huge caterpillar eating my rose scented geranium today. Fucker. He already killed quite a few leaves before I got his ass.

I’ll try and remember to get pics tmw. It will be a week since you’ve seen them.

Thanks for sharing! @Sunvalley if one listens to enough clackamus coot vids one can pick up these Taylor made foods for worms easily it was him that I’ve gotten ideas about fortify worm bins with amendments and/or compost piles… I did think the idea of the drippers over the shells was pretty cool !

I think homeboy was taking a few puffs off camera when shooting this vid! Lol

I don’t have designated worm bins, but I did notice a worm in my compost tumbler. Not sure if it will multiply in there, but probably. I would assume there is tons of food for them in there.

Ya. I flipped my compost today and in the cooler regions of it I saw some thrashing reds in there!

Hi OG, containers got their first feed today. 1/2 strength organic fert. Man, why does organic fertilizer always smells so gross? Blech I fed them hours ago and it still stinks out there. Uploading my first video of the year to YouTube as I type this. It’s gonna take about 30 mins, so stay tuned and you can see my garden in veg. I was too lazy to take pics and post. May do video diaries from here on out for you guys. There was quite a glare, but I did best as I could.
