2020 Cannabis with Meesh

This photo was kind of a lark as none of the bud ended up like this. It all got pieced out to check for rot. If it wasn’t for my Man, I wouldn’t even have this pic.

Well shit @Meesh maybe your allergic to this years crop? That would suck !

Yep. I was allergic to the Botafumeiros strain last year too. Sucks! Good thing it doesn’t translate when smoked. Could you imagine anaphylactic shock from smoking your bud? That would really suck.

Maybe you should trade in the rototiller and get one of those heavy duty atomizer bug sprayer tanks! They throw out a fine mist to get all the nooks and crannies.

Dad bought a bunch of cedar chips. We are gonna hang some from the trellises and scatter it around the garden. See if we can repel some of the damn moths. I’ll let you guys know if it helps.

btw… Not a single bug found on the entire blue gelato plant today, except one lone spider.

Oh forgot to reply to the question about the bug zapper… they are a good addition… just put them around a corner so the plants arent taking the light… the moths will find it. what i used to do was put the zapper on around sunset and have it hanging by the plants then move it around the corner just as the sun fully set. also try those yellow sticky cards… you can hang them around where you can and they should help a bit too… i had a colour break down of what attracts what… i’ll see if i can find it

@Sunvalley Thanks!!

So, the men have gotten all extra on me and both say that they refuse to trim any larf this year. Spoiled asses! I can’t blame them though. Dad drew the short straw last year, because I won’t trim it and would throw it back in the pile. lol He couldn’t let it go. I gave in and said any we get off the inside of the cheese probably could just get thrown into the bud trim bag that I give to my friend. One easy plant in and the trim rage has already begun. Funny how agreeable they both are once it’s dried and cured though.

Sounds like some people need to be reminded of who’s wearing the growing pants in the house…

In a normal world, I would offer to help trim just because I enjoy the company and I bet your Testosterone Twins are really cool dudes who might have some things in common with the Wolf.
I could take you guys to the fish and coral importers and you can see everything close up.

 Practically spit out my drink! Shoot, I didn’t even win the war on keeping the last ounce of skunk! My fave and I grew the stuff!

Just what I need, 6 testicles in the house… In a normal world, I’d take you up on that! Seriously, Cheers!

I may need your advice when I go to look for clones out there. I wish that I would have gotten one of the Blue Dream that you have.

Well this Blue Dream was a seed from Humboldt Seed Co I believe. I’m not convinced that this thing isn’t just straight blueberry. Still convinced the genes split in the twins at birth. I’ve grown oodles of Blue Dream and even a few with more dominant Indica traits, but nothing like this plant. Wish they would invent smell-a-vision already and get it over with, so I could send you a whiff. This plant is absolutely amazing, but I’ll be really bummed if it doesn’t have the same medicinal high. The clones and other bd seeds I’ve grown were more hybrid sativa spears with very low odor.

For me, smoking Blue Dream feels like hugging an old friend. Comforting, uplifting, happy…energized

Well the good news is… The blocks and bags of cedar Dad hung all in the plants seems to be working! I went and shook all of the plants and not a single gypsy moth flew out! Next year they will go on earlier to fight off the caterpillars.

The bad news is… I keep cutting out chunks of bud rot. I checked our weather again and we are at 77% humidity and holding steady. It’s already been like this for a month. It’s usually 10% less here. No matter how much I dry them, the buds feel really wet on every plant at any given time. It sucks. May as well be raining for a month straight. The dew doesn’t evaporate until 10 am right now.

Only thing I can think of is hold back on watering as much as possible… :man_shrugging:

I couldn’t take the aphids this morning & cut most of my 88g13Hashplant & hosed it down, hung from clothesline & leaf-blowered.

Gotta have something different to smoke.

But the tobacco-tea spraying has killed about 1/2 the bugs on the other plants. No more of that stuff… 3 weeks to go.

Don’t feel bad. At the rate I’m going, I’ll have 3 plants worth of premature bud, if I want any of them.

@cannabissequoia they seemed to go through their thirsty faze when the buds were forming. Now that they are just maturing, they are asking for much less water. Funny, I’ve had this experience with my regular flowers too.
