For cripes sake, it’s 5 am. Waiting on Dad to harvest these plants. I am not a morning person
I dunno…that going to lower temps enough to make powdery mildew a thing?
I think I would do one or two to see if it was all that before a wholesale commitment.
No help from light traps for the 'pillars or too late?
Yes, please
If u look real fast it looks like little broccoli florets I much prefer bud then broccoli
Which one is this? Would it give me like Halitosis or something?
Well, either way it would go with tonight’s dinner, so I’ll just hope Meesh puts a big old helping on my plate
@Budafly Right? Or brussel sprouts lol
@WMoon518 That is the entirety of the GDP. Not gonna be much once it’s dry. I’m thinking an ounce each for 3 of us… Although, I seem to remember GDP being a tough Indica for me to tolerate. Time will tell. It may end up being split between the 2 men. I actually grew this strain for Dad because he was describing an old strain that he loved and I’m pretty sure this is it. So hopefully, I can give Dad some old school the way he remembers it.
@Howard.Crane that looks delicious! Are those cooked peaches? Nom Nom! I need dinner now.
Spiced plums, almost as good
Hope not on the pm. Seems to be the only problem I haven’t had this year. I’m almost afraid of writing that down. lol
The damn ice! Haven’t seen it do a damn thing! Don’t tell Dad, but after the grocery store hell experience last night, I didn’t get any for the blue dream tonight as she comes down next. I needed a day to recover from that ordeal. Plus after trimming all day and getting up at 5 am, I’m just tired. I had a reminder that today was supposed to be liquid fish drench day per my soil test, I even postponed that for tomorrow.
It’s a bit late for the bug zappers at this point. By the time I order them and install them it will practically be harvest time. Gonna invest in some for next year though. All the cedar we hung on and around the plants seems to help a lot. Next year, I’m def gonna buy a bunch of cedar chips and scatter them all around the plants too.
You guys know what I really want? Just one giant top cola that I can dry and trim on the stem, that I don’t have to piece out from damage. This outcome is highly unlikely. lol I still have the cackleberry, but she got a bit of pillar damage too. At this point, the only plant that has no pillar damage is the UFS 18. I was afraid to say that out loud too. lol Found some on skunk 1 and the cheese recently. They will be at 10 weeks of flower in 2 more weeks. I really think they will finish by then too. I preferred my skunk right at cloudy last year, No amber to either the skunk and the (half skunk) cheese. Honestly, I’d be worried to even try to go long this year on any of them. Last year I had the Dragon’s Blood Hashplant go into late November and my Strawberry Diesels into December. At least I don’t have any super long sativas this year, 2020 is just not the year for it.
…does Dad put crystals & magnets on things to improve chi-flow?
I’m releasing my TommyCopper plant sock ASAP.
@ReikoX call up the engineering dept. at LITFA.
patchouli & all that
Hahaha! Haven’t seen any crystals yet, but he taped earth magnets to all the plants. Remember?
…at least tell me he’s not out there peeing on your plants.
No. I know the nitrogen is good for the plants, but that’s where I draw the line! I won’t even let the dog pee in the patch.
Did a trichome check today. Caterpillar Kaitlin is done. She’s actually starting ambers. The containers both finished early.
Blue nightmare is so rotted she comes down tmw. Not a cloudy trich in the bitch. Damn! At least the trichs have mushroom heads. Still, more premie bud. Boo.
Orange Moldy aka Orange goji and Cackleberry are about there. Once the gdp and spectral tangerine are dry, I’ll have room to take them down. After that the real fun begins as both skunks and cheese will be done. The cheese may just have to go a bit long as I only have a finite amount of drying space.
Have I told y’all lately how much I hate late flower and harvest time? why can’t I just go from veg to fully cured bud and skip all the stuff in between? Any other outdoor growers feel the same?
It’s a million degrees outside and it’s already 4 pm. Watered the front yard and the back, now I’m heading back out there for the liquid fish drench that I was supposed to do yesterday. Since that’s not enough for one day, I still have the BT spray tonight at dusk. At least I have less plants to spray, no point on Blue dream or Bruce since they come down this weekend. Crap! After that I still have to go get Dad’s ice. Not to mention this weekend both days start at 5 am for harvest and trimming. Yeaaaaahhhh… good times.
5 am comes quick. Harvest day. Kill me now. It should be illegal to be up at this hour. Blue Dream is coming down.
it is. we’re reporting you to the authorities
