2020 Cannabis with Meesh

Absolutely! Thank you for sharing that! Especially since it’s Mental Health Awareness Week. It should be everyday, but I’ll take it. Cannabis is good for everything, much better than the demon alcohol.

Laughter is also one of my drugs of choice.
Would you like a laugh @Meesh? I know you do. So let’s say you want to start a business selling churros. You also dabble in paleontology. What are you gonna call this churro biz?

Same here. Sixteen years of that shit is my limit, and I will not tolerate another minute of it.

Tested the cured GDP last night. Tastes like typical gdp, berry flavored with a side of chemicals maybe solvent. I had to take it premature so not super strong. I’ve found the key to me and tolerating indicas, they need to be early before the heavy body high kicks in. Tolerated it just fine. Mellow and kind of sleepy with a nice head high.

It’s interesting, that people with high anxiety or depression even, seem to do better with sativa. I had a roommate like that once. Indica would keep him awake and sativa just the opposite.

It is interesting. It seemingly would be the opposite and for years I tried different Indicas to no avail and a lot of paranoia, uncomfortable body highs and panic attacks. Then I read an article about blue dream and thought it was crazy that it was sativa. Explored and found that sativas had a more outward focused high, social. The Indica high is much more inward focused and depressed and anxious folks do not need to focus even more inside ourselves. Our thoughts are already too inwardly focused, we will just ruminate and obsess over things we can’t control and cause even more negative thoughts leading to more anxiety, depression, paranoia… like a circle. It’s no bueno

@Solowolf a Churreria opened a couple blocks down from my house. Opened maybe a year ago. They have homemade churros, mexican coffees, specialty mexican fruit drinks etc… I had the best Iced Horchata Latte and Avocado toast there today. No churros though, the latte was sweet enough. This place is the bomb. I don’t even like sugar in my coffee, but that latte was the bomb! lol

I want to go to there. Getting the churros fresh like that is so damn good. I like mine with ice cold milk :milk_glass:. Straight avocado with salt and pepper on toast or a flour tortilla is perfection. :heart:Moms RIP  would make tortillas with bacon grease! Seriously, bacon bits and grease right into the masa.
For some reason, I don’t drink coffee, maybe because 110F degrees outside doesn’t go well with hot liquids in the body  But my Great Grandma made espresso all the time and I love it because a little bit goes a long way. She didn’t give a shit, she would put Frangelico in it for me when I was 14 and say that I was man already when they told her not to. I think she thought I went to work in the mine when I left for school in the morning.

They have it set up like a coffee shop. Really cute patio out back. It’s a real gem and I love that it’s something different from the usual Starbucks. Mmm I want homemade tortillas made with bacon! They offered 3 different kinds of avocado toast. I had mine with pico de gallo and cotilla cheese on top. Just a little spice and lime juice. Yum! Oh shit, I may have to go over there again after my clients. Now I’m hungry again.

Another month or so and all my avos on the tree will be ready. Everybody is gonna be stoked. The world hits me up for them. Seriously, everyone lol. What’s rad about avos is they won’t do the final ripening until picked so you can leave them on the tree as long as you want and they won’t rot, unlike say apples that you have to harvest the whole damn tree at once. Huge reason I tore out both my apple trees. Big mess.

Question- is avocado craze mostly a Cali and Mexico thing? Are they as common and major in other states and countries?

Texas, yes, but that is probably due to it’s proximity to mexico. Back in NJ, when I move back after being here, “What’s an Avercauda?”

I had mexican food in West Virginia. It was disgusting and the WV’s thought it was great. Wow! They didn’t even fry up their own taco shells. The mexican food in Colorado wasn’t great either. Guess I’m just spoiled being so close to Mexico, cuz we have seriously good Mex food on practically every corner here.

Heading into my office now aka the weed room. Time to burp the buckets. Gonna see if the Cackleberry is dry enough to try out in my bong. If it is, I’ll give you guys and initial smoke report. Can’t wait to try it.

Have you tried the UFS18 yet?

No it’s not dry enough yet. I did fresh dry test the Skunk 1. It is twice as strong as the plant I grew last year and my stuff was already super strong. Means my soil is really coming along with 2 years of tests and amendments. Really stoked on it.

So cackleberry… Anyone else grown it?

Trying it out fresh dry… it’s not telling me much, very subdued. No flavors or smells at all yet, even when I broke up the bud. Right now it’s much like the uncured Blue Gelato, pretty bland. The only thing I get from it is a chemical kush like flavor that is very very familiar, but can’t really place it to an exact strain, except kush like. The high so far is nice. A nice little race to it, but not over the top, feel pretty focused and alert, so far functional and social. Slight body tingle, but fading out quickly. Well darn it, cackleberry not much of the fresh dry kinda bud. I’ll have to wait for the cure.

I can not wait for my bud to be cured before I sample it. Don’t know how people do it. I have to try it at all stages. lol

It just came to me, what the cackleberry reminds me of at this stage… blue dream but not this year’s bd. The real blue dream lol This Blue Dream I have curing now is loud as hell, fresh blueberries. I’d love to smell straight blueberry bud right now and see if it’s the same as this plant.

Alright, as I continue smoking the CB, I’m picking up hints of lemon. Liking the high more and more as it progresses too. It’s happy weed. It feels uppity (but not speedy, heart isn’t racing) , we’ll see if it keeps me up all night.
