no not a bleeder unfortunatly. I went and rubbed a leaf…it does have a bit of lemon/gas kinda smell. Maybe ill harvest half first and let the other half go longer. Then I can try both
MOTR who made the f2’s said there were 2 phenos, one lemon/gas the other cucumber/mushroom like
the bleeder element had no bearing either way. Mine was a bleeder. It stops though once the branches get more woody.
Cucumber mushroom… thats weird.
Tested out the fresh dried UFS. It’s lovely. Typical skunk high. Only difference between this and the Skunk 1 I grew so far is the UFS has a sweeter citrus finish than the skunk 1. Same skunky tingle on top note and citrus on the bottom. Luckily, I never tire of skunk bud. It’s a good all around strain day or night, pretty much an every occasion weed. It’s been my main and go to strain for a year now and I’ll never tire of it. btw… the high on the skunk 1 is stronger than the UFS at least it seems that way. Could be the difference in harvest times. I took the skunk 1, I think a week and a half earlier. I’d have to scroll back and check to be exact.
To be specific… the citrus in both strains is oranges. Very distinctive. To me, the Orange Goji tastes like original skunk on steroids.
been puffing on the UFS for like 3 hours. My eyes are red tiny slits in my head now.
I feel your pain Meesh, I had the same problem with my last plant. I had to chop 2 of my biggest colas as they were also riddled. I ended up chopping the whole plant a couple of days later so I didn’t lose it all.
We had some very hot weather in the UK for a few weeks plus it didn’t help that I was converting videos to VR format for 3 weeks straight. My room was like a Tropical Jungle very humid. It smells like one too, with a bit of sweaty sock odour thrown in the mix.
I mainlined my plant for 8 colas also, so that didn’t help either in such a small area. My next plant I’ve trained for 4 colas I’m hoping this one turns out better.
Tomorrow and Monday the last of the Cheezus Christ comes down. It’s WAAAAY done. Foxtailing like crazy out there. We’ll see how much can be salvaged. This is the very last plant. I’m relieved already. It’ll be even better once it’s all done drying then I can take a break for awhile. What in the hell am I gonna do with myself and all my extra time? Pull weeds, seriously, pull weeds and bermuda grass outta my flower planters. That’ll take a good month or so. lol
My man is on his way over. I’m gonna have him help me pack up the cackleberry to cure and move some of the drying UFS around. I’m gonna need space and we rigged a net to the ceiling as well, but the freshly trimmed wet bud is too heavy to go up there. I need to move some of the almost dry UFS up there to make room for the rest of the cheese to dry in a rack. Drying has been a pain in the ass this year as all the plants needed to be harvested at the same time practically. However, at least it gets it out of the way instead of dragging out the trimming forever.
millenial dudes in skinny jeans & uggs [smh]
not into tights. those are for chicks, man.
You and @Meesh are cracking me up tonight… Smoke 'em if you got 'em, right @Meesh? lol… I’m doing the same thing. I’m baked checking out all of this uncured pot. I have one more day of trim and pack. It went good.
It’s funny how all of the plants seem to want to finish outside at the same time. Some start earlier but mine all seemed to end up finishing at the same time. It makes for some crazy days. I was lucky with the weather and sat outside to trim for the most of a week. Nice weather this year has made it a breeze… lots of long days, but a breeze.
Dad cracked me up the other day, said he can tell who trimmed which bud when he’s smoking it. I’m like, yeah cuz I don’t just trim the secondary leaves in between the nodes, I remove them! lol Gave him some crap for a minute then said “What do mine look like?” He says “like a surgeon trimmed them”.
Baahhhh… I call bs on that one! I don’t wanna be good at something I absolutely detest. Want them to look like shit, so the men will think I suck and do it themselves. Truly, can’t stand that tiny layer of crunchy leaf on the bottom of my dried bud though… Almost to the point of pet peeve.
Testing out the new plants is the best! After all that hard work! Feeling like “Hell, Yeah! I pulled it off”
The cured GDP is making me wobbly over here. Seriously narcotic like, my eyelids are super heavy too. Guess I picked the right strain to mess with tonight as I have to get up at 5 am for the rest of the damn cheese takedown. Unnnhhh. It’s gonna be a 2 dayer. Home stretch…
I have all of these buds on the desk and in the kitchen and I’m losing track of what is what, ha…and, having fun doing it. I do love trying as many as I can.
I’m gonna start growing a few of my accidental mystery crosses one day soon. I always know the mom, but have only educated guesses on the dad, because I usually have more than one male in the house somewhere. So, I think that could be fun. I dig this part of the grow! I loved the free light from the sun!
When I look back at this year’s grow, the trellises were everything. Seriously, everything! They made my life so much easier. Held up like champions. Despite Mother Nature being bitchy and molding my gorgeous buds, I think I rocked this grow and I can honestly say, my pillar damage was minimal, I really battled those mofos hard and won. I conquered pruning which was my goal this year. I’m by no means a master yet, but I’m not nervous and I feel that I understand the plant better and honestly, really examining my plants and watching every little part form and learning why and how. Pruning has become my ally now as well as super cropping. I really learned a lot and achieved my goal.
I’ve also come to realize that I think like a gardener now and feel confident out there. I approach my cannabis same as I approach the rest of my garden and think of it as a summer annual and not in the sense that I am a marijuana grower, but that I am a gardener and farmer. Learning about growing all plants is truly been key to my successes. A lot of late night studying as well. And of course killing a shit load of plants on the way.
Here we go again… 5.am aka the middle of the damn night… cheesus christ here I go. Help me coffee! You’re my only hope.
duuuuuuude
yeah. later
let’s see how long before you are awake enough to reply to this one lol sweet dreams
Love Ya Meesh! I start work at 5.am. everyday!
Well trimming goes insanely fast when you throw the entire 2/3 of the plant away. What was left of the cheese was absolutely riddled with pm and did not feel safe to me. Dad was unthrilled. Oh well, what we harvested last week was good. Harvest is officially complete.
