As for regeneration, as long as you dont chop the whole plant you can regenerate it using supplemental lighting.
I’d say selectively trim off bigger flowers and leave back smaller flowers, seal open wounds with bees wax, if you have, or any wax.
Place in shaded area that has some light but not to much, and give it dusk to dawn supplemental light.
Here are a few that I have regenerating.

In fact we can trust yes, but we need to readjust the parameters.
A true luminous intensity meter, either lumens or PPF, captures almost 100% of the radiated light, but our cell phones do not have this same capacity. That is, they fail to capture a lot.
There is a recent post from migrolight on the subject:
What you can do is use some parameters to better approximate your result, as I use the App PPFD Meter, I use the following parameters:
Between 300-600 PPFD measured by the app you multiply the result by 1.15
Above 600PPFD measured by the app you multiply the result by 1.25
So I get close to the real value.
