6x4 FusionHut 1680D Mylar Tent w/ 900 watt Mars Hydro Full Spectrum LED

I would like to start by helping as many New Growers with a most Important heads up when it comes to deciding which type of Grow Tent to purchase.
When it comes to Grow tents there are many just terrible and inefficient ones.
Most Importantly, Never get 600D Mylar as it’s very flimsy material as well as zippers. I’ve seen many many of these tents fall apart after 2 or 3 Grows,
Now 1680D Mylar is Fantastic as well as Durable and I wish I’d heard about this Before I purchased my first set up. As far as Brand Name of tent for me and all of my fellow Growers who’ve taken my advice is FusionHut this company in China has been out there for over a decade. Pretty sure that they can be shipped right to your door or just go to canadagrowlights.com here in Canada. Please tell them Don referred you. I will stake my name on it that Gorilla Tents are waaay more expensive but No Better. Honestly Brother and Sister Growers thanks to Mars Hydro II & FusionHut plus the New C.O.B.
LED Grow Lighting at very reasonable prices on eBay You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars to set up a very sweet Grow Room or corner of Basement.
I’m Truly ecstatic about the Legalization of Marijuana here in Canada.
Although I have a Legitimate Doctors Perscription for Marijuana I am so looking forward to seeing this Incredible Medicine De-Criminalized. God Bless You All
And I hope you’ll check in on My Latest Grow here on Overgrow.

Sincerely Don. Namaste, Namaste.

I have been working with “disposable” tents. I have become somewhat efficient in not binding up the really crappy zippers by running my finger just ahead of the zipper and separating the cheap inner edge of the crappy mylar fabric.

It is true what you say.

I want to go back outside!

I’m an old schooler whom learned after much trial & error I’ve found that No Matter how much attention and dedication I give any of the outdoor Grows
I have Grown There’s just No Contest in Potency Taste or even look of -
-My Indoor Basement Tent/FusionHut Grows. Not that I’ll stop trying the outdoor Grow ever again as I’m sure I’ll come across a perfect outdoor Strain that will indeed come close to or even just as great as Indoor. I can assure you of this 99PerCent if you do purchase a FusionHut set up you’ll be set for quite a long time the Complete set up with 6 inch Fan & Filter 4 inch is good as well for any size tent less than 6x8 foot Honestly I have gone through many many types of Grow Gear and am quite certain this is the best Gear for the Price.
Also I’ll be testing out the 900 watt Mars Hydro II Full Spectrum LED Light.
As well as my most recent 1600 watt Full Spectrum LED C.O.B Light.
I’m looking forward to seeing how they do with great anticipation to be sure.

Outdoors is unforgiving.

We just had 6 inches of snow, heavy as concrete, land on top of daffodils that popped early, cause it has been unusually warm this past month.

I had good luck on my first run in the green house. Nearly a pound of good herbs.

I still have a long way to go to get the temps and humidity controlled properly.

They look adorable such wonderful Green. Looking healthy to be sure are they Sativa’s? Another reason for growing Indoor Eh! LMAO
Honestly those beauties have plenty of potential what week. I find a good foiler spray everyday helps keep humity at appropriate level.
If your into using ll them your interested in using their products and show the results via your Grow Journal on OG.com I did it for-

  • my 420,com Grow Journal and they sent me 2 boxes of incredible products to grow a Monster Crop big or small space.
Where do U get your seeds? Here’s a couple pics of the first 7 tap rooted White Rihno seeds a couple of hours ago.

The plants are mostly my own crosses. Trying to find things that I like that are unique.

The problem in green houses is often too much humidity. Especially in the cooler times. So at night the dehumidifier has to be on and running at night.

I ended up with nearly a pound and started these two months late, by seed, on July 1.

Looking forward to your grow.

Have you measured the claimed wattages with a wattage meter or are they advertised watts?

Because that COB only has 6 chips which would in turn mean that they run at ~266watts per chip which would be the highest I have ever heard!

If the “900w” light is from Mars Hydro, it should draw the 450w? Not actually take 900w from the wall? Because I’ve had the “1600w” model from them and that took 630w from the wall…

So unless there is a new test model…

Just want to understand the numbers stated in this thread, that’s all.

No I have never bothered with the whole EXACT Wattage etc.etc. I find the best results are shown by the Grow how their fed what their fed etc.etc. I have a cabinet I purchased from Cali 4 or 5 yrs ago with a 200 watt CFL light and It grew me some incredible nuggage eh. < 507edf.jpeg" width=“375” height=“500”>

Once I received my 1st FusionHut-

I’m going to test my so called 1600 watt COB vs. Mars Hydro II 900 watt.
I to knew that whatever the wattage being advertised your lucky if it puts out half as much. Until I’m able to afford the space & equipment I Dream Of Nightly
I’m content with what I have at present. I ate Kraft Dinner and Vegetable soup for months and don’t even get me started about Nutes & Soil etc.etc. LMAO…

I wish you the Greenest of Grows & the Heaviest of Harvest

So it’s okay if I call my 70w HPS a 600w HPS?

Just joking, call them whatever you want…

I personally don’t want to mislead people and just wanted to point that out in case you were not aware… I am a fucking smartass

You can always see the actual draw of the lights with a draw meter, or for example Mars Hydro clearly displays the actual wattage on their site, as many other manufacturers do too. I wonder what is your “1600w”'s LED brand or manufacturer.

But I get it, you are not so interested in the details. You don’t have to be.

I already thought before writing that you might know what I’m about to write, but wrote it more for the sake of newer growers who might not understand the LED light business so well yet.:cherries:

The pictures of the past crop look really good.

Are you going to do this test so that you gonna have the lights in separate spaces? Or just have those lights side by side in the same tent/space?

PS. For somewhat similar COB vs LED side by side in same tent comparison, check out my topic: Remove this part 7

Constructive critics is always welcome and as is ANY tips or help of any knowledge in the area of Marijuana Growing etc.etc. No Harm no foul to be certain my Brother Grower. :slight_smile As far as the LED Mars vs. COB -

  • I’m still on the fence however to get the True Test results cannot be done in the same tent. As a matter of fact my Brother Grower I’ve just decided to put the COB in the 3X3 FusionHut and leave the Mars Hydro in the 6x4.
I’m going to put it as High up as I can to Truly put the coverage of space the Mars Hydro II 900 watt LED to it’s Max. Another Amazing thing about the 1680D Mylar it reflex the light inside the FusionHut. Oh I’ve also decided to dust of my Yielder Max 200 Watt CFL light into the mix eh! Lol.
It looks like I’ve got plenty of little Princesses tap rooting as I type this.
I’m actually getting pretty stoked about having an awesome Yield when all is said and done. I’m hoping that I have several different strains and I’m sure that there are a few Autoz in amongst the Germinating Darlings. One has sprouted this very afternoon Yeeeaaahhh…

Great that you could do a true separate comparison of the two lights. Can’t wait how this turns out!

Any idea about the manufacturer of the “1600w” light?

Yes indeed I have been a busy bee indeed and I’ve moved the COB into the 3X3 and moved the Mars Hydro II into the center of the 6X4 I’ve decided to see if I can create my sea of Green corner to corner eh. 2 more of the little gals has popped through the Soil yesterday and I hope to see a couple more tonight when I check in on the Ladies.

Well if you want to go with COB OR Mars Hydro II etc Either way I would go with 600 watt for Flower.
The CFL u r running is all good for Veg growth. I have yet to run my COB as of yet in the Flower tent. This current Grow I’m doing will be the first. COB is waaay cheaper for the Hydro bill. I’m hoping that it’ll produce at least what my 900 watt Mars Hydro II has.

A bit of topic but can anyone tell me why you have to start photo seeds in smaller pots then transfer too bigger one? But you can start an auto flower seed in the pot u plan to harvest from I only ask coz I have some photo seeds and was thinking of try them on my next grow instead of using auto’s
