I’ve been itching for some of their lemon tree, but it’s that strain in general is tough to time a lot of information on. It’s just little snipets here and there. If I’m not mistaken, the lemon tree cut it hunted from Barney’s stock, or perhaps Barney’s held and bred with the cut, or replicated it and win some cups with it. Please, if anyone has seen a complete and credible story or knows stuff. Skip to the last paragraph for those that just want me to get to the point 
Same for Ol Betsy, seems to be more lore than good info. My strain knowledge is pretty good, and I was talking to someone one day about Irene, and they threw out Ol Betsy as if I would know all about her. But I don’t know much, and then some of the people that claim to have her don’t seem to be able to provide much info or just provide something like “yep, she’s a good one” not much more.
But then there also seems to be a ‘lemon tree’ cut that people say is a small unspecial cut, as well as a cut that goes by lemon tree that supposedly isn’t lemon tree but is also very good. But I think that’s just Caleb’s cut, I haven’t seen it otherwise. Which brings me to… What does 707’s held mom look like?
Then there are seeds, S1 seeds, f2 seeds, seeds just called lemon tree that are feminized and others that are not. I’m about to pull all my lemon tree seeds, pop all of them, and just see what plant(s) I like best. I’m currently holding Franco’s SLH, a few sour things, but lost lemon tree in stress testing. Both times I tried it arrived in poor shape.
I also hear Irene is pretty citrus forward, and I hold her and have stress tested her, but not fully flowered a good w it would be fun to toss her with some other hunted lemon plants… to see if you can improve upon her veg time and keep the same or even improve the timeframe on.
I’m also popping Alani Skunk S1. Trying to find a cut back on my mom’s so I don’t know why I’m doing this. Other than I like citrus forward plants a whole bunch. I’m also holding some cuts of Sour D x SSH F3 (Prof P’s work), very nice stuff. Lots of hazy lemon with a diesel background. My goal is to make heavy lemon forward fems with some provenance, probably focusing on Franco’s cut as a mom, and probably another indica forward known cut. But outside of Lemon Tree, or S1, worked lines of it and crosses of it, not sure where else to look.
Their description is ok, but when I get to the end it’s like, 150ish on sale, for a pack of Regs of a clone only and no good info on how it was worked. I want to know how they were bred, parts of what they say in their description make me question why I’d want to grow their version of it. Small, and not easy to grow… And it’s a BX and has been line bred, but it has a 3 week flower range, no mention of phenos or where it’s at in the line? If anyone knows this stuff or has a smoke or grow report thad would be amazing.
In short, if you’re going to ask 200 for a pack, be transparent please. It seems like the type of pack mostly people looking for breeding stock would buy. I guess I want some good reason to spend 4 x the cost of some delightful sounding Kush Cleaner packs

After the interview, I dropped some “triple sec”: Lemon tree x kush cleaner, (50)
it’s described as
“Triple Sec is a hybrid strain that results from crossing Lemon Tree #4 with Kush Cleaner. This strain has a strong Lemon Tree genetic influence and produces short and stout plants.”

I just tried to buy SFV OG Kush X Kush Cleaner and Triangle Kush X Kush Cleaner and it said “Reserved.” Didn’t charge me but took my contact deets. You’d think it would have been mentioned on the website but wasn’t. Not a huge deal, but no idea when they’re coming in.

was about to throw down on those sfv og x kush cleaner myself… i remember when kush cleaner showed up in norcal a bunch about a decade ago and always thought it was pretty special smoke, crossed “back” to the sfv or tk for that matter is an obvious recipe for success

Will do. I’m a big fan of Jack’s Cleaner and the Griffin I grew from him brought back a lot of memories. Love that lemon pine-sol smell. I was actually surprised given the fact that the mother was Gelato 33 and the father was Kush cleaner. Seemed like very little Gelato, which was OK with me. I emailed him and asked if he had any Jack’s Cleaner seeds for sale, but he did not.
