70s Landraces VS modern Landraces

Here i wanna show you my Observation that any recently collected Landrace is looking different than the Landraces collected in the 70s,

This includes Realseedcompany, Zomia Seeds Indian Landraces exchange without exeption

  • Old landraces have more vibrant colors, and colors are seen more frequently in more phenos.
  • Recently collected Landraces have fewer colors, aswell the Leaves grow more odd, wrinkled.
The resin looks like sandpaper , abrasive paper…

these pics i show you now are the most colorful i know of, (i have to say i have problems remembering modern colorful examples, so please upload some yourselve… but i short searched some comparison to my 70s strains).

80s Durban:

modern durban:

90s lebanese (lets call this old)

Modern lebanese:

purple doesent count as colors, purple still exists today…
So i need to atually only count the red leaves in the modern sample. Because again: purple still exists… so lets just look at the red, blue, yellow. compare that.

old lamnbsbreth:

Show me such lambsbreath collected today, ive never seen that.

the 70s and 90s examples should represnt the old 70s Landraces. I choose them because few old strains still alive

You need an artistic Eye to give me right.
If you just dont have that, you probably will say those brown and grey tints in modern collected Landraces do not matter.
The Sandpaper resin does not matter.

But thats what im talking about.
The beauty… Its gone in recently collected Landraces. Peace.

But when i just mix the old with new pictures in one post the beauty of old gets overshadowed. So here i separate it:

old landraces only:

90s lebanese (lets call this old)

Its to note that i choose from 100s of modern landraces the most colorful, and from about 10 old LAndraces the most colorful…

So, the old ones have a higher frequency of colorful phenos…

And im so sorry man to tell you this, but i just think its true , its obvious the plants look different. Atleast they are pure today… Atleast something
Im sorry realseedcompany and zomia, i have nothing against you, i used your greek moliotiko to save an old Turkish feminized Line.

I have an old 1968 Oaxacan that I can trace the line of custody straight back to the source and it looks very different from any that I have seen lately.

Every genetics on this planet has its own dna and it expand in every generation. Now lets look at our planet it changed a lot in recent 50+ years. Climate changed a lot. Then you have different sources of genetics that are grown in different micro climates thats make a big difference also and i think that this is resoult.

Its funny i was looking for some good authentics as possible Lebaniese and Durban for my project and your log shows up :upside_down_face: probably its hard to get as close as possible with modern day gen pool

Any suggestion on Leb and Durban?

Well heres the thing about rewilding, i feel they only require some work to bring the vibrant back or maybe a better way to say it is to bring the plants back into a more coherent vibrational state  yeah that sounds right
