Hey guys just wanted to start up something for the lovers of the '90s radio Days… whether were born in the late '70s or early to mid 80s like me, it was great listening to the newest jam on MTV and FM radio. Classic rock and electronic are two of my favorite genres but the nostalgia of 1990s alternative usually reigns supreme. There are so many and artists to choose from like RHCP, Nirvana, Beck, STP, smashing pumpkins, oasis, and on and on. Here’s a classic from a guy no longer with us
My favorite music era plus Mtv was actually cool in those days. Alice in chains, pearl jam, stp, smashing pumpkins, nirvana, etc etc. Still jam out to these 25 years later, music blows these days imo
. No such thing as rock n roll anymore besides greta van fleet.
The greatest rock voice of all time imo, R.I.P. Layne! His voice has so much emotion and pain.
A little Andrew Wood, formed Mother Love Bone with Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament (who later formed a band called Pearl Jam)Andrew performed as a persona, Landrew the Love Child, (Man of Golden Words) and the band is often identified as one of the founders of grunge rock. Tragically, Andrew was another one that left us far too early, and died in Seattle from a heroin overdose at the age of 24, just days before this album was due to be released. We used to fire up some original skunk from Humboldt county when I lived in Ocean Beach, San Diego (and HiFi stereos were still a thing,) and crank this song, great album.
Side Fact: Man of Golden Words, another great song, is where the words Temple of the Dog were first heard, much intertwining of 90s stuff here.
Oh, wow,.look above your post, and you’ll see where I first heard of the TOtD!![]()
Mmm bop, lol
