So this is my cheap DIY Ebb and Flow system, super cost effective and fits perfectly in a 2x2 tent seems to work nicely. Testing coming soon as the seeds germinate. I’ll put a price list below.
•3 gal Bucket: $3 on amazon
•Husky storage bin 19-20 Gal: $17
•Fountain pump 400GPH & 3/4 ID 5’ hose:$18
•1/2 ID rubber hose: $7-10
•Drain and filler port Amazon: $15-20
Or if you have access to a 3D printer I’ll include the STL file for the parts. Even most of the purchased on Amazon is 3D printed.
•Digital timer: $15 (can use older analog if flow times work out.
•May want to add an air pump to the bottom tank
I hope this is kosher to do if not I super apologize just wanted to provide actual way to get files.

Couple hundred dollars from what I’ve seen. Really I haven’t seen any options for an Ebb and flow system for a grow tent. Usually the options are for multi bucket systems and are a minimum of $250+

So this is where we are at so far, ironing out a few small issues but other than that it’s been smooth sailing. My PH isa bit high what do y’all think.

Plants are looking good!
I try to keep my pH between 5 and 6, because I have an HOCL based sterile reservoir. HOCL only stays HOCL in that range (higher or lower and it converts to other things). Plants seem happy in that range too.
If your reservoir is behaving how you want it, and the plants are behaving how you want them, I would probably keep doing what’s working.

So here is where I’m at now… lol one little problem to solve… I need a taller tent immediately! Other than that been going great. Just ordered some skrog netting, and looking for a good deal on a 2x2x7’ or 8’. I think I finally found a LED I’m gonna disassemble to fit the tent. It’s like a Gavita style fixture. How about trying to 3D print the entire EBBnFlow system? 1 kg of filament is pretty cheap if you stick to PLA or PETG. Check this mini version out, maybe you can enlarge it for a 2x2, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2040753

Yo i love this shit! I love a good DIY on the cheap. If i remember correctly i bought my ebb n flow bucket system for like $600 and it came with 18 sites. Even the 6 site model was $300. After checking tge site to double check the prices, it looks like they arent even putting these packages together anymore with the skyrocketting price on buckets. Very cool @Misguided_USMC did you ever get your hands on a taller tent?

Should be in today I literally can’t wait lol I somewhat modified my old tent aka cut the top off of it lmao. But it worked for the time being. Could easily make a multi bucket system with the pump I have just need some extra tubing so like $10 more. I’m super happy with how well it’s been working this far!
