No they will just be making seeds, and what’s left is getting thrown out. I wouldn’t even put it in my worm bin.

Weedly Update.

Not much happening atm really, just killing time doing stuff around the house and on the vehicles. Weather has been humid with rain almost every night and temps around 72-74 F 22-23C,. Today its jumped up to 90F 32C with the humidity feeling like 100F 38C :frowning: So the aircon is back on in the house keeping the plants at a nice level.

Well in the clone cab, temps are sitting at 80F 27C with humidity at 65% , the PK seedlings are doing good, The older PK is not so good, I put some gypsum in the 4 pots and got some dust on its leaves, which has burned her up even more unfortunately. I am glad I re mixed and reduced the soil in the other 3 pots. I will be probably moving these into the veg ten very soon.

In the Veg tent, the OG and GDP have been re potted in the same pots I removed a lot of soil from their roots, and replaced with a mix of their soil and peat moss at about 50% each. So they are grumpy atm, I will give them a week to get over it, I put 3/4 of a cup of EWC on top of the soil just to get the bacteria up and running and a little food for when the roots start to re establish themselves. I pulled the bug killer strip out and got the fan working again with a new controller. I had it venting all the horrible stuff outside for 4 hours until I could not smell the bug killer anymore. Checked the leaves over when I re potted, as I defoliated them a bit as well, just found dead mites and eggs.So hoping that has sorted the little fuckers out. The temps have been kept at 76F 24C with RH at 55% with the fan now working again. I think I may put the re purposed fan I was temporarily using in the clone cab as its a lot more powerful that what is in there atm.

In the flower room.

I haven’t watered the flower plants for 10 days now, trying to get a little drought stress to make more resin, and have had them in the dark for 48 hours now as well. I was going to trim them up today but its way to hot for me outside, I would be a messy puddle of sweat in 20 minutes lol. So looking at the forecast for the week, this hot spell is going too last a few more days, so maybe Wednesday before it happens. I will have to give them some water soon or the worms will be dying in the pots.

I checked my TER with the buds I pollinated, after a discussion with Zephyr over Bohdis lines using a 88g13hp male. He said he noticed fertility problems with strains using this male. I dont think my TER which has that male in its lineage, has made any seeds, just like the last one I pollinated that just produced 1 seed. I used half a pack of Left hand seeds PPP pollen, which was enough to do a whole plant, plus some of the TER male pollen on another branch also. Those buds are almost dry as well so I will be removing them from the plant this week and pulling them apart to check.

Larger CCK at 10 weeks now.

Close up of a bud.

Smaller CCK

Close up. Looking quite frosty with the water deprivation.

TER with seed buds hopefully.

The alfalfa is making nice pretty flowers.

Cheers for Looking.

I wonder if the pk is garbage seed… I’ve started a few of them, and they’ve turned out similar… but I passed it off as I neglected the hell out of them, then I get tired of looking at them and trash em

The 4 I gave to my buddy were doing well the last time I saw a pic. He is supposed to send me an update today so I can check them out.

Haha let me know… I got some hungry birds in the yard that would love to eat the bowl of seeds lol

Well I am going to pop the rest of them in another week, for my next batch of 4 autos. I have faith in you lol.

The original plant was a solid little lady, by rights the offspring should be too lol. Damn lazy younger generation lol

Chopped one of the CCK yesterday, as it was fairly cool yesterday morning. All trimmed and washed.

Also broke up the TER buds that were pollinated at 4 weeks with TER and Paranoid Purple Paralyzer pollen but no seeds again :frowning:

Chopped the other CCK this morning while it was nice and cool outside.

This CCK is very thick with the frost, I think the drought stress worked better on her than the other getting a few more days of it. Some bud pics.

Weedly Update.

Made up four more 5 gal pots this week, using my soil from the ten gal pots plus 30% peat moss and 10% perlite added to the mix. 2/3 of the perlite went on the bottom of the pots for better drainage down there and less compaction.

The weather has been wet and humid all week, and the PK seedlings got a tiny bit of PM starting on them, so I have modded my flower room humidity controller and added it into my clone cab as it was just running a temp controller in there.

So in the clone cab 4x 5gal pots with a Dark Sparks auto in each, I believe they are Mr Sparkles and were traded to me by HardRock last year. The green wire is so I know where I put them lol. They are surrounded in Mycorrhizal, I think that’s right, I can never remember how to spell it lol Also some clover cover crop sown. yellow sticky for the fungus gnats that will be appearing shortly from the new peat moss added in the mix.

RH controller added to my little box of controller wiring, so either the temp or the RH controller will start the exhaust fan when needed.

I had to unsolder the wires and remove the plug receptacle, didn’t need the blue wire as that’s for humidification.

In the veg auto tent, we now have the 4 PK autos under the 150W light.

Moved the OG and GDP to the side they are recovering from there re pot last week, they look very hungry now so they got some gaia green 2.8.4 bloom ferts, and hopefully they will perk up enough to go into the clone cab for STS pollination shortly.

Bucket of wine fermenting in there as well now as the flower room is shut down and being fumigated with the home defence bug strip.

All my pots are now on the pallet and I will be using another 2x 10 gal pots soil to make up my last 4x 5 gal pots, the rest will be going into the worm bin for a time out. Although I could easily get 16x 5 gal pots in there  but I only have 7 more pots available, I could do a 3 pot group I suppose, starting every 2 weeks instead of 3  for the 3rd and 4th set, which by the time they finish, should get me to the end of October, when I want to re open my flower room as the Aircon will not be needed out there by then, and hopefully all the mites will be dead.

As the 5 gal pots finish, I will build up my 10 gal pots, and start vegging new plants. Thinking of doing some Mongobongo runs, of all the seed strains he has produced last year and this year, about 5 or 6 I think, excluding what is coming in this last seed run that has not arrived yet.

Cheers for Looking

I can’t get over how much work and xtra toys people put into this.
Most if it is just pure old common scence.

I don’t think I do too much work with no till, compared to other ways of growing, probably spend 15 minutes a day on my plants under normal conditions. Closer to 3 hours this week, making up new pots, sterilizing the old ones, and adding the RH controller.

Not sure what I could do different to make it any easier, except train up the daughters BF to do it for me  while I watch and drink :beer::beer::beer:

Late Weedly Update.

Not much to see really, not a lot of change. In the Clone cab we have 1 Dark Sparks above ground it was 2 but I killed it trying to get the seed pod off it.

Clover is doing well.

In the veg tent, the PK autos are getting bigger now the biggest seems to have stopped getting taller, not doing much due to the hot soil, the other 3 doing better.

The GDP is almost back in good shape, I took all the damaged leaves off it. The OG is still suffering a bit but getting better. Going to bend them up again a bit this week, then they should be fit to go in the clone cab for flowering, I mah have to trim back some branches on the GDP as its growing fast now.

Had a problem with the Tranquil Elephantizer Remix buds I jarred up. Looks like there were still some mites on it that survived the trimming and 30 minute dunk in the lemon juice and baking soda. Also the same in one of the small jars of White Diesel X Ghost rider, they also had some mould in as well :frowning: . Looks disgusting, I tossed the 2 jars in the bin without opening them, but the next day I got them out again as I cant find any new mason jars anywhere local to buy atm. I emptied the contents in the fire pit but after a discussion with Fortheloveofbud he convinced me to make oil out of them so I dragged it all out of the fire pit lol.

So I put it all in some tin foil and decarbed it for 25 minutes in the oven, broke it up with gloves on, and it sat in the freezer soaking in alcohol for 2 days and today I strained it all out, and its been sitting outside today letting the sun get rid of the chlorophyll, and to allow any fine sediment to settle, it will be going in the still on Wednesday probably.

Cheers for Looking.

Weedly update, late again been sniffing the Litfa too much.

Well I made up the oil in my still, it worked out well, had a little sample on Friday night, and its pretty good, total body relaxation, heavy indica buzz that came and went in waves, I would be watching the TV then find myself staring into space with a stupid grin on my face lol.

I think this would be good for meditating with, using small doses. I fell asleep about 3 hours later, after taking it, in my chair, woke up at 1.30am and went to bed lol.

In the clone cab the Dark Sparks autos are all above ground now, the first is about 5 days older than the other 3.
Eldest at the back

I germinated 3 more, as only one surfaced, so did them in a paper towel this time. Two hatched and I put them into the pots and got another out to germinate in the paper towel. The next morning I had 2 in one pot, typical sods law. So I carefully exhumed one and put it in the other pot at the back. Took the seed out of the paper towel to dry and I will try it again sometime. These will be going into the veg tent today and the GDP and OG will go into the clone cab to start flowering out and making seeds with STS.

In the Veg tent.
The 4 PK are starting to take off now, I lowered the light 6 inches and they got some bacterial tea, which has caused a bit of burn again. So my soil still seems to be hot, but not as bad as the 2nd from bottom that did not get some soil replaced.

The Orange Gogi is still suffering a bit, I just cant seem to make this strain happy.

Grand Daddy purple is almost there the lower front branch has been under the light to close again and is suffering a bit, but she will need a trim up before I put her in the clone cab, she is getting way to big now.

The Alfalfa is going crazy in my un used pots I may just leave the soil in them and break them down and adjust them as I need them, its too hot here atm to mess with them.

Some alfalfa seed pods, I keep seeing a chipmunk that lives under the workshop eating them lol.

Cheers for looking.

I’ve got a chipmunk that has eaten ever damn strawberry that has grown this year. He really likes them apparently little bastard I need to put some kinda of barrier up but if it’s not metal he will just chew threw it or just dig a hole under it to get to them. I love the little guy but damn I want some strawberries too.

Porquepines love strawberries as well I see the same one every year munching wild strawberries in an area where I walk the dog.

We have rabbits/hares here as well, they have never attacked my vegetable garden or outside weed plants when I have them outside. The wife saw a beaver waddling across the back end of our property a month ago.

I am just glad we don’t have racoons around here.
