OK 15 days since my last update mainly because my soil is out of whack and its depressing to watch these plants burn up, also now I have rid myself of mites, the new soil mix trying to correct the problem has brought in thrips.

So In the clone cab the GDP and OG are doing OK, I took 7 cuttings from the GDP just to keep the longest branches shorter and also for back up clones, in case I dont get any seeds with my STS experiment. So far I have 3 rooted in the last 12 days so I am good for back up. I have sprayed both plants selected branches twice with STS every 5 days. I am going to flip them tomorrow in the clone cab until they are too big then I am going to stick them in the flower room to finish.

Picture of the autos is too shakey to be of any use, I will do another later, its not a pretty sight, all the purple Kush are burned and stunted, the Dark Sparks that were put into more diluted soil mix, seem to be fairing a bit better atm.

We have had a resident squirrel around for a while and I figured one is OK. Then our big male cat killed a young one so he must have found a girlfriend we didn’t know about. If there seems to be more of them next spring I’ll be using the live trap to get them out of here.

Other than bunnies and some weasels we have no other critters around if you don’t count the occasional deer or moose that wander thru the yard.

I was thinking you should make a pocket of milder soil in the middle of where you plant those beans so they aren’t starting off in such a hot soil. Say about the size of a 2cup measuring cup worth.

I have just emptied another 4x 10 gal pots out on a tarp to reduce down with promix, the dark sparks are looking ok a little light in colour if anything.

It’s way to hot even for mature plants.

That’s a good idea though, most of my seedlings this year started in peat pucks, then into the big pot, I think I will start the next lot in 16oz party cups, to give them a buffer, if this next lot of pots is still too hot,

Hi buddy how’s things, I have some seed run seeds with your name on, if you want them. Have you got anything growing atm ?

We’re all good here, daughter and her boyfriend have moved out to Kelowna she’s finishing her last year at university there, and is planning on staying there when finished.

So life has quietened down a lot and the house is staying nice and tidy lol.

Just running a few autos through the summer, to save a bit of money shutting down the flower room.

Hoping to make make some feminized orange goji beans from yours, I have only just managed to get one of them into flower, because of all the problems I have had this year. I am trying to make some feminized GDP beans as well so I don’t need to keep a mother.

Hey, you know me, I ALWAYS love seeds. Best of luck with the fem beans. I was thinking about doing that with RiekoX’s SBR x Dark Devil auto’s. My girl really likes the smoke, and I like to grow it. Awesome plants. But I’m down to only 2 beans of it left and want more :grin::grin::grin::grin: I’m sure RiekoX won’t mind as they will only be for myself.

Too hot to grow inside, BUT I do have 4 going outside. 3 of which are from the Overgrow Xmas gift, trade we did. I don’t mean to be rude, but I’m terrible at names and it’s been awhile…but to my Santa Thanks a bunch, your gift is well used.

Same as before, tap the up arrow bottom right corner navigate to pic, select pic tap upload, needs to be under a couple of mb I think.

I wouldn’t mind some more of those SBR X Dark Devils myself, they are a great smoke.

If you’re having trouble getting them to upload and its on a Samsung… mine must have updated, now instead if selecting from my gallery I have to go into my files and follow through there into gallery, then I can upload

Weedly Update.

In the clone cab we just have 5 GDP now, 3 on the right rooted and growing, 1 in the little pot showing some root bumps on the stem, I pulled it out to throw it away and decided to give it a chance when I saw the root bumps, and one with a couple of roots through the peat puck gone into a party cup and looking sad for itself.

In the Veg tent we have The good the bad and the really fucked up lol. The 2 on the right are the Dark Sparks growing nicely, coming up to 5 weeks old now, I think I have my soil balanced OK for them. The 2 Purple Kush from Grease Monkey looking not so good at 7 weeks old, as the soil is still to hot and the thrips dont help either.

The next 2 on the right Dark Sparks again the one at the front is a week older than the other 3, and is bent over with a wire stake. The 2 PK on the left top one is probably the best opf them and the bottom one which is at 8 weeks and looking dead on its stalk, sorry Mr Monkey not a good advertisement for your seeds, I will try and do them justice on another run, when my soil is functioning better :frowning:

In the flower room The GDP on the left and OG on the right, looking a little thirsty, its a bit warmer out in my workshop. They got the designated branches sprayed with another dose of STS after I re did another batch as I was not sure I mixed the 2 components thoroughly the first time and it seems its important. We will see what happens in the next few weeks, they are getting sprayed every 5 days until male flowers develop.

In my first attempt at a second mixing I made the mistake of using alcohol instead of distilled water as I am using the same bottles to store both in. The second mixing went well, using my specialized equipment comprised of, an allen key in my drill, sterilized with alcohol along, with my paint measuring cup and the little garlic butter liquefying pot used with lobster.

Thinking I may cancel the next run of autos atm and start a MongoBongo run of all the seeds I have received from the seed runs. Rocky Mountain High and the PAC cross, Oregon Huckleberry and the PAC cross, Dragon Blood Hashplant, Ogers and sour Deisel X Snow Lotus.

I dont think its the seeds fault just my fucked up soil burning the crap out of everything, I went with a 10% less mix in those pots and the next ones 25% when I saw what was happening to them. I think 25% is about right as the dark Sparks are looking like they may need a feed up shortly. They were pretty vigorous before they went into the big pots and they burned almost immediately, the ones I gave to my buddy are doing good he tells me.

I just made up 4 more 10 gal pots and went 50/50 with pot soil and peat moss and left 2 inches from the top so I can top dress with EWC and compost if I have to, I would rather be on the weak side and build it up. It was horrible watching them turn crispy, and not be able to do anything, if they had been photos I would have re potted them in something less hot.

Damned if you don’t have the exact same drill as I do Shadey. Actually bought it for the wife along with the impact driver as the set was on sale and she loves power tools. Decent units for Crappy Tire stuff.

I’ll be needing to mix some up myself before too long. Might even try spraying the outdoor girl. Going out right now to get some plastic on her. The wind finally died down.
