A Shadey spot to grow, Perpetual organic no till

Put A Sebrings Revenge seed into water today, I need to think 4 months in advance with my CBD usage.

Woohoo the GDP and OG have single male flowers developing next to the female buds, I thought the STS would stop the female buds developing on the plants completely, I may start spraying the rest of the plant in that case, if it’s one flower of each sex per site.

Any STS users have insight to bud and male flower percentages on plants🤔

Weedly Update.

In the clone cab, we now have 3 Ogers and 3 SD X SL above ground although the one on the back left side has not done much, the last few days it looks like its cotyledons were stuck together we will see how it progresses. The cup bottom left is the Sebs Rev, it cracked in the cup of water but the water dried out over night so I am not sure if it killed it, I have put it in soil to see if its viable if not I will have to start another.

The GDP clones are starting to get hungry, so I added an 1/8th teaspoon of gaia green ferts to help out while I wait for the PK autos to finish. I may do another seed run with these depending on how the plant in the flower room does.

Speaking of which here is the veg tent.

PK autos are gaining size now although I think they dont have long to go, they are throwing out loads of new pistils, and fattening up so I may just keep them going as longs as possible.

The Dark Sparks are going strong and have all been staked over on the main stem except the one at the far end, which has 4 stakes in it.

This one has gone crazy in the last week, I am trying Grease Monkeys balloon animal technique lol, I have bent it almost fully back on itself and the branches are all staked as well

The clover is coming along in the 10 gal pots as well as the Alfalfa.

In the flower room.

The GDP and OG are doing OK we have male flowers developing

The GDP is starting to look hungry I will add some ferts to her today.

The Orange Goji is looking to well fed she doesn’t like much N.

I tried to get a pic of some male flowers, camera is not co operating well . I will have another try later outside where the light is better.

Cheers for Looking…

Had fun catching up. Mites are always a PITA but by what I saw you’re all over it so you’ll get there in the end or create yourself some super mites that you’ll never kill  looking good as usual bro :+1:t2:

Hi man, I hope all is well with you, wondered where you went, did you shut your grow down

I carried on but I have had some downtime. Being honest I think the community has changed quite a bit and I quite enjoyed it prior to that so just stopped coming on but have to admit I miss some of the people on here so possibly be more frequent again now especially now I’m sat twiddling thumbs in the pandemic

It has changed here since covid hit, it seems like it was mostly the UK growers who stopped posting and went quiet. Ersogood and Gandhi’s flip flop, I haven’t seen since just before Christmas.

I guess it’s a little more complicated there for growing as it’s illegal. It’s good your back anyway, have you got anything lined up to grow?

They’re all still well n good bro I keep in touch. Got alsorts lined up bro I culled my last run cos I had the feeling something wasn’t right nothing happened but I always say if u get that gut feeling you should follow it so I did.

Plans of a place to go back to big spaces not this cupboard shit I’ve been doing but tbh prolly do both. Indecisive atm

Yeah, when the spidey senses start tingling, you need to pay attention. Something I should have done when I got the mites, cull everything except whats finishing in flower, and start again, after cleansing lol. It would have saved me so much stress. Its the energy wasted going into what you have, verses no return, that keeps you fighting to save something not worth keeping in the end :frowning:

Lol I feel that last part should be bold in any growing book out there :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: my advice for mites bro is everything dead and bleach. 99% of bacteria they say

If you’re wanting to keep cuts I’d keep em at a buddies while you quarantine it and keep your space clean. An don’t let other growers into or near your space nor plants or cuts being a middleman any of that shit cos I’ve got mites multiple ways in the past and it’s all just dumb or greedy shit.

This is why I am now making femmed seeds of all my favourite strains, if you have mites and take a cut hoping to preserve the strain, while culling everything, and all your doing is preserving the mites lol. I am not 100% sure where they came from, but the problem started after getting some clones from a buddy early spring when it was cold, so they probably sat there waiting for it to warm up properly before going viral, I even quarantined them for 14 days and sprayed down a couple of times in case.

If I ever take clones again it will be full inspection with the scope, if they have anything, their dead, as well as quarantine and spraying, if I cant see anything.

Just Say “NO” find your own elites.
Its just not worth it.

Weedly Update.

Started building a breeding Cabinet on Wednesday. Got most of it completed then had to get a catch and make a re purposed humidifier fan fit as an extraction fan.

Made the case from 2x3 stud which I had to buy, and MDF wall panels I rescued from a dumpster. Door is ready to go on and I siliconed all the joints. I only had some hinges spare that came off a security fire door they weigh about about half a pound each lol but I needed something wide so the door would sit more flush to the surface with the weather strip on that will seal the door to the frame from light leaks and pollen escaping.

Painted the inside white first coat on second to follow, I dont think it will stay on if scratched the MDF is covered in grey vinyl wood grain but it will do for now.

Cut two 6 inch holes for an extraction fan and air intake.

Thats the fan that will be going in the top hole. There is a light in there as I was testing the door sealing strip to make sure there are no light leaks.Got a bit of ducting in the bottom hole, going to cover that in reflective tape to make the duct completely light proof.

The fan after taking a grinder to it, just have to clean all the dust off the blades.

I will post more pics when completed.

In the clone cab.

Just the 3 Ogers 3 SD X SL seedlings and a Sebs Rev waiting to come out of the ground.

In the Veg tent, the PK got chopped yesterday, so the GDP clones went in their pots, going to veg them and try some more STS on one of them, maybe 2, on top of the plants this time, so the pollen will get among them, instead of just dropping on the floor like whats going to happen with the one I have in the flower room atm, because I used the STS on a bottom branch :frowning: which was a mistake I now realize.

The 3 GDP looking hungry.

The 4 Dark sparks getting bigger, having staked the tops down they are pushing out the lower branches now, another week and I will un stake them.

The one at the back seems to be the mutant willow pheno as Trevor Lahey calls it, its doubled its size again this week I am just letting it get on with itself, see what I can do this week to reign it in a bit.

Got a problem with my tent, the weld broke on the top pole for the side cross members :frowning: I am going to take it off as it un buttons and see how I can repair it, the end of the pole has gone through the tent and the rough bit of weld has cut a 6 inch long gash in the side which is easily repaired with reflective tape. Its just getting the frame apart and back together again with the tent on. I might just replace that whole pole with some 2x2 stud.

In the flower room.

The GDP and OG are looking ok GDP is a bit hungry. I cut off the STS branch on the OG as I want pure GDP seeds so I am keeping that branch out and I will put it in wth the OG in the breeding cab for a test run and leave the GDP out here.

GDP.

STS branch.

OG.

STS branch.

Cheers for looking.

right on building a “breeding” box myslf I just realized the area I have them in routinely just isn’t in any way adequate I have been pollenating and collecting pollen from a sour 60auto and today I moved it slightly and watche it just explode so yeah time for something better so whats the plan for venting I have to figure out something for a filter hepa maybe anyway right on man

Yeh I do Macguyver a lot of stuff lol, that’s just a bit of rough carpentry making these things.

Here’s a bit of more refined carpentry, building a wardrobe for my daughter about 6 years ago.

Here is a big window /reading chair I built for her, the sowing machine broke 5 minutes into making the covers for the chair and seat cushions, so I had to do it all by hand, I wasn’t a happy bunny lol.

It has a book case inside it for storing books and stuff. The front panel is held in place with velcrove and just pulls off.

Well I was going to make a hepa filter thing for it, using a filter from something, not checked out Amazon or anything yet, as I am just going to chop off the LST branches and put them in here to collect the pollen for the moment. I will use this in the house, my flower room is outside in my workshop, so I am not too concerned about loose pollen atm but when I get a whole plant in there making pollen then I will be

Really impressive work Arriba|nullxnull , looks now like a good place to store your jars, but I’m afraid Mrs. will have other ideas for those , I’m going to invite you next summer home, lot of work to do … frech|nullxnull

Cheers George, they came out good, the wardrobe weighs a ton, I built it out of 18 mil ply with a white birch veneer on both sides. I cut every piece with a hand saw as I needed everything to be perfectly straight and square.

Just waiting for this hurricane to hit, it’s category 2 ATM supposed to drop to 1 just before making landfall tonight right on top of us, winds 100kmh or 60 mph gusting to 150kmh or 90mph and up to 100 mil or 4 inches of rain, it’s pretty windy now, with current wind speeds at sea 160kmh 90+ mph gusting to 200kmh or 120mph.

Everything loose is either put away or tied down. Just got to move the vehicles closer to the house and away from the trees.
