A Shadey spot to grow, Perpetual organic no till

I’ll be sending you a bunch of AK47 from Canuk seeds crossed with Crop King Blueberry if that’s of any interest. The AK was a huge yielder but I didn’t find the bud to be inspiring. Gave a lot of it away to my needy friends in town and they liked it fine.

That’s one AK47 plant in the front. Big colas but the bud is a little airy. That dark Hindu Kush had rock hard nugs tho and they all grew in the same media under the same light.

That sulfur stuff seems nasty. Got to be a better way. With no plants around and the warm weather when you take your road trip all the mites should have died off by the time you sprout any new ones. Any eggs will hatch and the buggers will starve to death. Just have to be careful about bringing them back in off your clothes after cleaning up the yard when you get home.

I think there should be some interest, Tut was a AK47 derivative and it produced nice big buds like that. So send them in buddy, what doesn’t get used in Canada will get sent to Sebring to offer out.

I am hoping so, I am thinking of just culling the dragons blood hash plants and trying again when we get back, I have friends wanting outdoor plants this year again and they want The Big Bang again, so just going to germinate some of those. I am also going to flower the Banging Big Nosed Kate I have as they are feminized and can go in the big pots this week, and if the DBHP dont show sex in the next week it wont be worth using them as they need 12 to 13 weeks of flowering. In fact looking at the date today its almost to late now so I am going to check them in a minute and if I cant see any sign of sex they are mulch for the BBNK.

Weedly Update.

In the breeding cab, the 2 OH boys are dropping a bit of pollen now and making a lot of flowers so I am not messing with them atm, once the Ogers girl is ready in the next week or two she will get a good covering of pollen.

In the Seedling cab, we have the 4 BBNK and the girl DBHP. Well I was going to grow these and give them to my nephew to finish when we go out west, but he has pulled his tent down and doesn’t want to do it :frowning:

So time wise these are screwed so I will be trying to find an indoor home for the DBHP and I will be giving the BBNK to friends with the BB that I just germinated also for outside grows this year. I will have to try again when we get back. No point in trying to grow the DBHP outside, it wouldn’t finish until November probably.

Got a little too much N atm but as soon as I move them into the veg tent and bigger pots they should be alright.

The Big Bang seedlings.

In the Flower Room.

I checked the trichs on the OHXPAC and the spare SDXSL and they are all about 90% milky but no amber, so I am taking them down tomorrow, which will free up some space for the Sebs Rev.

TheOHXPAC struggling to keep the buds up now.

Front OHXPAC getting some fox tails starting.

Rear OHXPAC

Spare SDXSL

The Oregon Huckleberry

The Ogers Girl waiting patiently for a good rogering lol 1 week from flip.

The 3 Sebs Rev, the 2 big ones now one week from flip. I think the lights plus the Sulfur burn caused this problem, I moved the lights up to 32 inches above canopy and they are happier now. I will let them grow up into the light as they stretch, and space them out more once the other 3 are chopped tomorrow.

2 more sunflowers are out

The sulfur made this one drop all its petals almost but there is another just opened this week on the same plant

Went to the beach today for a walk, only -2C and hardly a lick of wind, the dog had a great time, and I scored about 7lbs of Kelp  Just have to wash and chop now.

Cheers.

The OH will be making another appearance in my garden for sure. I only had the F2s, looks like the PAC really helps plump those buds up. Nice haul!!

Chopped the spare SDXSL yesterday, washed it and put it on the rack to dry. This morning I was checking them to see how dry they are and there is a purple stain on the paper towel where they were resting :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

The purple pigment can easily leach out when cut and washed, heck I consistently get it popping up when making resin from purple bud,

Good to know thanks, I didn’t realize this strain had purple lol.

Sux having to plan around a long absence. At least when I go somewhere the wife can do basics to keep things alive. I’m hoping to drive out around mid-Oct to visit family and do some coho fishing with #1 son. Maybe 10 days away but who knows.

I should get my first jab of Moderna in a couple weeks. On the list with the local pharmacy so will get a call for my appt. Hope to get the 2nd within a couple months after but Alberta is going for the ‘get everyone their first jab then up to 4 months for the 2nd’ plan. Better than nothing I guess.

It’s a double edged sword, it’s a chance to kill off these mites for good, so I may as well use it productively as possible.

It is very boring waiting for them to go through veg from a seedling to big enough to flower them though, I hated it last year when I swapped back to photos from auto’s.

Started booking hotels today, we are heading out to Kelowna last week of May, fuck it’s hard work trying to actually find a tel number that goes directly to the hotel you are trying to book. I got scammed on the first one with a $15 registration fee :worried:

The one I tried to book in Ottawa, the guy says oh sorry sir they don’t allow pets here.

I said, do you work at this hotel, he said no were the franchise booking company, I said can you give me a direct number for this hotel, he said I don’t have it.

I said, you don’t even have the right hotel information either, my daughter stayed there 6 months ago with a 120lb Bernice mountain dog, she didn’t smuggle it in, in her handbag.

He said, well I don’t want to book you into that hotel, and if you get there and they say no. I said, if I could find a number to call them direct you wouldn’t have to, and I would be talking to someone who knows how much they will be charging for a dog.

He said, I can find you another hotel sir, I said, no thanks I will find my own.

Travel Lodge, Ottawa, room for the night for 2 people and one dog, that’s $108 for the room and $75 for the dog. I said I don’t want to buy another dog, just bring my own :smirk: I said, are you sure that’s not $7.50 and the decimal point is in the wrong place.

He said, no that is correct sir. I said OK $75 for the dog, $54 each for the humans. Yes sir he says, shall I book that for you… CLICK.

Medicine Hat, Super 8 motels, desk manager, answered every question with out hesitation, very friendly and $20 for the dog,. :+1::+1::+1::+1: he will be getting a good tip.

Very Late Weedly Update.

In the Breeding Cab.

There is pollen everywhere, I am a bit worried the heater may catch fire with all the pollen it must be sucking through it. The Ogers will be getting a dusting today as it now has some small buds forming and I will be dusting it for another couple of weeks to make sure I get a few seeds from it. The cabinet seems to operating nicely. No signs of mites on these plants.

In the Seedling Cab.

The 6 Big Bang that germinated are doing well and will be watered today looking a bit dry.

In the Veg Tent.

The 4 BBNK and the DBHP are liking it under the SILS they got some leaf damage from the sulphur burn as well and being close to the light in the seedling cab. All the new growth is looking good and no sign of mite on them, gave them a quick once over with the scope.

In the Flower Room.

The OH is suffering bad with the mite damage now, I think I am going to defoliate it, and a wash down outside with the hose, now its at 8 weeks this Sunday from flip, and we are just in double digits temp wise outside.

The Ogers got some small buds, slightly bigger now as this pic was taken Sunday, getting some pollen on it today.

Large Sebs Rev

Smaller Sebs Rev

The other large Sebs Rev. These are getting all the dead leaves killed by the sulphur burn removed today as well. twice the size of the smaller one but was vegged 3 weeks longer.

A pic of the SDXSL that leaked pinky purple on the paper towels.

Cheers.
