I see some toes. Lol
Yeah I am in barefeet now until October or sandals if I am driving or going out anywhere. I need my grounding and soil bacteria top up lol.
I’m gonna send you a direct message I wanted to show you something.
I just got some “no-drop” shoes for work because I can’t bare-feet there and will be cheering on your autos!
I will have to check out no drop shoes, never heard of them. Thanks for the positive vibes, I am sure the copper wire antennas will pick them up
I’m so happy I got them @Shadey! I got cheap ones from Amazoom as my first pair and def worth it!
And they all have wide toe box so I can actually spread my toes and feel the ground!
It’s super weird at first but then I imagine it’s how the Aztecs felt when they figured out how to make rubber shoes by repeatedly dipping their feet in rubber tree latex, peeling it off and heating it by a fire.
My what big feet you have LOL
Morning plants look great
Never heard of a no drop shoe
What is their purpose? I have such problems with my feet hurting all the time
I can only wear New Balance wide 928v3 expensive sneakers.
Morning folks
I hear Canada is still in a cold spell.
Copy paste explanation which is better than my tired from a massive thunderstorm keeping me awake all night holding the dog who was very scared version:
"Zero-drop refers to the angle between your heel and your toes. Traditional footwear elevates the heel an average of 14-24mm (0.5″-1.0″), which throws off the alignment of the spine and forces an unnatural heel strike.
In a zero-drop shoe, your heel and toes are level, which mimics your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.
There are many benefits of wearing zero-drop shoes including:
- Improved ankle mobility
- More natural running gait
- Better posture
- Improved balance
- Better alignment
It’s not uncommon for persistent injuries to disappear after switching to zero-drop shoes. With your heels and toes in a straight line, the foot stays flat to the ground, which corrects posture and aligns your spine - encouraging a mid-foot strike.
This means that zero-drop shoes can help alleviate strain on the lower back, and allow you to walk with a much healthier mid-foot to forefoot strike.
These are also considered minimalist shoes."
I understand completely, I suffer from lower back injury and can hardly walk much, I find my feet actually will feel broken and unable to put weight on them as if sprained the next morn. Wonder if these may help my poor doggs.
I have 160lb Great Pyrenees that was sleeping on my head last night during the storms pressure changes too. LOL
Love my dog
Any brand in a walking sneaker you can recommend ?
My biggest problem is finding shoes that are wide enough for my flippers lol, I have 5E width.
Some years ago when I went to a periodontal clinic the dentist was wearing what looked like his feet were dipped in rubber, with individual toes. He said they were the best things he ever had on his feet.
I find my converse sneakers are almost no drop.
WHOA! Flippers for sure!
You may luck out as these shoes are designed for full toe splaying. Many places have “how to measure your foot” charts. I just went with my “usual” 8.5 and it was perfect!
These are the ones I got:
As you can tell it’s less than $20 per foot so it was worth trying for sure and i’ll be getting more pairs when these wear down.
I wear 4e size 12 , I was wearing the new balance 928mwV3 in 6E
but when I drove my sneaker would hit both gas and brake peddle at same time. Got pushed into intersection one to many times went back to the 4Es
I would come to a red light slid foot from gas to brake and push down, side of foot still hitting the gas as well. The truck was braking but the power of engine was pushing it better, so picture me slamming both peddles and the gas was winning, scary stuff when an 18 wheeler was barreling in.
Yeah I have had the same problems with small cars, especially when they have a clutch as well as brake and excelerator pedal in a confined space lol, it can be scarey, my feet are 13 US and Canadian 12 in the UK, it was a nightmare when I was a kid, I hated going shoe shopping everything had to be ordered in back then and there wasn’t much choice lol.
Stinky Feet. That’s where I got it from. The foot pictures. Plus weed smells like chezzz. lol
It has some weird smells sometimes. I even think I stepped in something in my house. Funny.
Good Stuff!
I’ll ask my wife did she poot or something.
The Purple Kush autos are doing great they have shot up the last couple of days, probably around 18 inches atm with all the sun we are now getting, back to rain tomorrow it’s not too bad 2 or 3 days of sun then rain then back to sunshine. Saves watering them and the other plants on the property. It’s starting to look like a jungle around the house lol. My soil was not hot for them as seedlings so I top dressed the pots after I took the pic with some organic malted barley, gypsum, sulpolmag, rock dust and some Gaia green bloom mix dry amendments, which should keep them going.
I got some S2’s of: Mephisto Genetics Illuminauto #57: Blood Orange Haze auto seeds from Pigeonman thank you very much buddy you’re a star , a couple of days ago, so they are going to be germinated today and I will make up six more 10 gal pots to home them in.
Pics of the potatoes that decided to grow in my compost heap, they seem to be doing better than the ones in the pot and ground lol.
Compost heap jungle lol.
Yeah!!! !
The 2 Purple Kush are now around 24 inches tall and starting to flower. Starting to get their dank on I can smell them from 6ft away.
Pots waiting for the blood orange haze to hatch.
Some pics of the flowers in the front of the house. These lillys have got something attacking them, gave them a dose of safers end all but it doesn’t seem to be stopping whatever it is. They had very red beetles all over them earlier in the year shagging each other.
Some other flowers that have sprung up.
Great update @Shadey I love you’re flower power!
The flowers are amazing, every time I go out there I see something new flowering. Lots of medicinal plants as well, I think the previous owner was an amateur herbalist.
