man they have incredible customer service. They must be sending out millions in free fans.
I just received my 5th replacement fan via UPS yesterday. I think thats all I’m getting from them
May have to cough up a lung to get another
I just set up a new ACI tent, typically I run Hurricane 12" fans. That’s not going to work very well in a 2x4…
Iv sworn off 6" fans, but this customer service from ACI has me thinking otherwise again. Guess I’ll roll the dice. $50 is alot for such a small fan but with it being programmable with my controller I’ll overlook that so long as it lasts longer than 6 months. About to order one.
Now, I see there is a 9" under development, anyone testing one?
Are the new fans also limited to 18 hours of oscillating?
No! They say they are good for 24hr runtime now
Bought mine under the same premise and they both ran 7-8 months before they started to click, now they are just stationary. The new ones apparently have addressed all the issues…. Hard not to recommend them.
They’ve turned me into an unpaid shill
Sweet! I returned my old ones because of that limitation. Time to stock up!!
My daughter surprised me with a fan this am, just as i was going to order. Day before my bday…
She ordered a fan on friday, knew what i needed for the cabinet. Luckily i had a piece of old tent pole i saved for just this purpose. One can immediately that these are built much more solid…
Then i ordered more. Thanks for the recommendation.
How’s the clamp on that? Seems like it’s solid?
I was concerned about that, the old pole piece was a smaller diameter than the new ACI tent i just set up. Works like a champ…
Wear it proudly! @NoCal
Really cant complain. They sent me five (5) of the gen2 fans.
I reached out to them Friday evening about my failed T3 humidifier… a new one should arrive today. Gen 2 as well, I hope.
They updated the humidifiers? Mine does look a little different from the pictures on their website… Do you know what was causing them to fail or what they changed?
They just updated them very recently. Ive heard of several issues when they first came out. Thats the reason I didnt put it into use right away. Sat for several months unused, Used on my current grow for a few weeks and fine. Moved to my 2x2 for a seedling, and shit started going sideways really quick. Leaking. Reading on controller as an AC unit. etc…
Here’s a video from a pretty cool company, or at least a company who puts out some informative videos
That was a nice breakdown of the differences. So far so good w/ my gen 1 T3 maybe they’ll force another free upgrade on us
Maybe lightning strikes twice.
Thing is, not many people own multiples of humidifiers. AC Infinity did not ask for my old (Used less than a month) unit back. I’ll keep it as a back up, or in a pinch if I need two at the same time.
And yes, the T3 that arrived yesterday is V2
