Just got the soil sensor. Its in living soil sips. Its read 29-37% since i turned it on.
Still hand watering from the top at this point.
Anyone using this thing and has a good understanding of soil moisture curve?
Internet says 30-60% is good.

Hmmm I use a different soil sensor 1.5ft probe that I calibrate. Basically I just used it on a few happy plants and set the high range after a watering, and the low when dry. SIPs are usually pretty wet so I dont mess with a sensor for them.

Still learning about moisture curves so i figured id cop it to get a sense of where it generally sits with happy plants in sips. Was only 20 bucks for the sensor.

For sure - mine is super useful for raised beds, gives me a good idea which plants drink more and all that.
