This is my gelato clone being run for the second time. First time was ran with minimal training and a 5 gallon pot. This time I’m running her in a big Earthbox and have completely flattened her out. As of today 10/1/25 she is begining to flower but I will attempt to post everything from the begining of this grow.
Newbie to OG so bear with me and any stupidity I may have. I have close to a decade of growing under my belt so not new to growing but definitely not an expert.
This is the earth box I decided to run it in. As you can see in the above pictures. This genetic is fairly lanky. She actually falls over with the weight of her leaves before buds ever form. First time around she was completely flopping over with the weight of her buds. She would be a fantastic choice for a scrog net. She may potentially need one. But I’m not doing that this time or last time.
I will gradually explain more such as nutrients etc.
October 1st and 2nd Pistils and stretch are coming in strong. Here comes the fun part. And now am up to date with this diary. I uploaded the short version. I have some pics of the final harvest from the first time I grew this cut, if anyone is interested. Last time I had to cut her early because of leaving for camping. But also I couldn’t run my light full strength because of the summer heat so this time I’ll be able to run her full term and with full strength lighting if she desires.
Ps. It’s been water only from transplant. I use homemade worm castings that I don’t sift and if I don’t sift out all the worm eggs things, it’s acts as an inoculant for the soil which I think is cool and I’ve never heard of people doing.
Yesterday I gave her and the other plants a tea. I use roots organics a lot or at least I used to. But I mixed a tsp of bloom and bloom boost by terp tea into a gallon of 0ppm water and just shake it up and poured over top of soil.
Nice man looking good and what’s the lineage on acai gelato? I’m finishing up an acai juice which is an interesting purple hybrid but don’t see that name much
