What week you at now? The AG I got going are probably 13-14weeks is my guess on when they’ll be done. I had one herm n let it do it. That one finished at about 11weeks and honestly not impressed at all. I’m probably going to extract all of them hoping for something potent. Acapulco qwet. On another note. The herm pollenated my black bananas female so I got golden black banana babies (fems?) that I’ll be throwing outside in spring.

I was around when AG first hit SoCali and it changed my whole perspective after the Mexican brick weed we’d become accustomed to. To see this legend become available again in as close to its original form as possible is most excellent.
If you end up with seeds pls add me to the list of eager hopefuls.

They’re doing excellent! I’ll make a long-winded update w/ pictures either late on xmas or the day after…
Today and tomorrow I’ll be stretched pretty thin between visiting family and the wifes family 
Sorry to hear about the herms. I culled mine, but if I’m being realistic, I’m 106% sure they pollinated a few early pistils 
And I have no clue — haven’t even attempted to count the days. But I’ check the plant tag tonight. You’re more than likely wayyy further along.

Now funny you mention this though… I was just talking to Snowhigh last night, and he talked me into grabbing the last/one of the last packs of his 2015 Acapulco P1! I can’t imagine that I’m going to be the one to repro it so soon after this AG OP…. But who knows. I’m gonna donate it to the FBSC group for sure, and hopefully somebody else keeps it alive for us all.

Can’t wait for the finale on this one! One constant in all the smoke reports I’ve read on AG is the excellent taste it has. Really special. Good grab with those Acapulco beans from Snowhigh. He’s got some great Old Mexican lines. This would make a great addition to the Freaker’s vault…or perhaps you will run it😁

Okay, finally….
First, let me just say I have no idea how you guys take those pretty, close-up nug shots. I can stand back and just take a picture of everything, but it just looks chaotic with the way they’re leaning on top of each other. Just picture a lot of green foliage, 4-5ft drooping mexi colitás, with purple stems.
I tried, I honestly did.
Trichomes are small and not the most plentiful… But I see seed-husks turning yellow and many seem to already be popping out. So pollination was successful.
I’m covered in pollen right now (i’ll explain why in a second), so after I get cleaned up, I’ll Stick my face back in and start taking whiffs of everything.
Les males — i’m not sure if any of you have heard my process/theories on revegging males (?) Mean Gene turned me on to the idea. Here
The theory is: take males late in their life cycle, when they’re their most vulnerable and weakest. You “stress“ them into revegging. What happens here is a couple of things all at once — some males will start to produce visible trichomes if they haven’t already. Each will show you how vigorous (or lack of vigor) they are. And best of all, any number of them will throw pistils at you!
For me, I like this first step of ”testing” because you can see which males are true-males, Who is frosty… you can smell the resin without chemical manipulation, and who wants to still party.
Note: according to Gene, this is also a good way to test for PM resistance, apparently. But I never had PM issues, so I can’t comment.
With all that being said….
I harvested half of my Sinsémilia tent a bit ago. There was just too much wasted light, so I moved the female AGs to that tent — After washing them down of pollen & whatnot. The males, I just had to make do… I chopped off their apical sac clusters (in case I wanted to collect pollen), trimmed up the rest, labeled their observable traits, and put them right into reveg.
I don’t remember how long it’s been, but all successfully revegged. Now look at what I found…
The first is my densest male, unfortuantely. Notice the S1 seeds.
The second, was also dense… but I need to re-read the plant tag again to remember exactly which one he was — also you can see some seeds formed on him too.
But lo and behold… My last male is pistil free! Meaning, I’ll probably keep him around to torture a bit more, maybe do a filial run, and if all continues to go well… Maybe make a hybrid or two.
