During week five of flower i messed up and the light was on 24 -7 for over four days. When i returned home i noticed weird growth and then discovered my light error. There is about 2-3 inches of new growth sprouting from some of the buds.
Would it be better to remove the new growth or leave it be as is?
Good news is your plants are still alive, bad news is your plants are seriously confused now. I would shift em down slowly to flowering 12/12, drop like a hour a day.
Who knows you might be developing a new technique.
I have purposely sent some of my girls into flower for a few weeks then back into veg for a few more months. I have produced some wicked thick bushes with this method along with a topping or 2. I dont do this often but every now and again if i have the time and space inside ill do one or 2 this way and let them finish outside. Good luck hope your endeavor goes well.
That can create stress which can lead to an increased possibility of herms, correct?
I’ve read people doing that after making clones, in order to see which plant has which set of genitalia. The clones end up being the main attraction, so herms on the initial plant is less of an issue. .
You are right. It can herm on you. I dont recall any hermming on me but i have had some just keep flowering and create the most fluffest foxtail like buds.
Let’s hope it doesn’t go as my mishap once went with accidental reveg starting fresh would of been my best option Owell learned to go with the heavier fuse in my timers lol
Are you using “superthrive”? from what I see the whole plant looks off, throwing single blade leaves from the get go as if it went straight from seediling straight to flower.
It does look like its longer than 4 days as its looks more or less full reveg. @thainer might be onto something thats why I asked about superthrive.
