Hey @nick131740

The JJ’s Nigerian F1 was the first make of the Nigerian haze lines. It used an original pre-90 nl5 CHaze male. Nevils first make

The Nigerian silk clone is closely held and been around since at least the mid-90s.

I did an embryo rescue last year preserve isolations of JJ’s Nigerian as well as Nigerian Haze which would all be siblings of the cut that he used in the other subsequent work that accounts for about 1/3 of the piffcon winners.

The Alpine line I’ve been developing for some years.

There was only 1 male that resulted from the JJ’s Nigerian embryo rescue. Some of the females were 50/50. In testing this male it’s proving to be the nl5chaze dominance of the male

@Chea1 thank you. I have been blessed with several opportunities. Without that I wouldn’t have anything so I’m trying to do right by it. I am Really exciting things coming down the pipe here in '25.

@hashgranny the variegated trait is a genetic trait from the male C side of 5haze. I played around with crosses and found some very interesting results but too much for here.

The C5 bx by yo Sammy by the name CC top from Dampkring just moved into the flower. The C5 cut was selected by Nevil in mass hunts of original stock which is very different from post '90.

Sammy was able to find a 5C from post '07 with desirable traits and selected back to the C5 cut.

At great effort and risk Sammy and the South Holland crew preserves this legacy cut.

The male found in the JJ’s Nigerian definitely throws 5C haze and is genetically closer to the original than anything else I know of. It was only outcrossed to the 100% sativa Nigerian which only improves the effect by my preferences.

I believed The C5 cut is very well preserved through the efforts of Sammy and others.

I plan to take the last of the JJ’nigerian male pollen to the best of the C5 bx. My hope is that going back to this male from the same original work as C5 (once removed). Will result in an array of original 5CHaze variation and reduce bottleneck potential… although this bottleneck is among the best of them.

All hanging on in the last little envelope of pollen from the earliest proven works I know of.:crossed_fingers:

SSSTN’s and Australia Outbacks, my haze area.

Well I lie, as there are 2 small plants, under the rafter running hazes!
Few had to go between the LED’s since are up into the floor boards, into the cob webs. It’s so rude.

Alpine Haze K2 x JJ’s Nigerian

Alpine Haze round 7. The line as a whole is over 60% Trich stem x10+stretch, but this round is a higher ratio on both.

And the extreme Thai pheno out of Johnny Blaze 2010 f2. Soft sky baby blue hue, but otherwise all Thai and Nevil Haze

Unbelievable yield potential…maybe closing in on 4 z per sqft as Nevil described male A. If the quality matches. Whew…she is loaded with the Alpine Haze K2 reversed

Imagine these mango pine and frankincense spears stacked on the frame on the Thai JB in the video below:drooling_face::smile:

The best sativa I’ve ever smoked had the smell and taste of sour green mango, the aroma was the same as the flavor, delicious! I don’t know which strain it was because I had gotten the flowers as a gift from a girl… But the hit was very euphoric and cerebral, it even gave me some paranoia, small and airy buds but very potent.

It could have been any of these, or Panama x Malawi which has an awesome green mango peel phenotype, or even some Colombians or the mythical Manga Rosa from Brazil. I will buy the Manga Rosa Haze made by Mad Mac. Eventually, I will attempt to produce a “Mango Holy Grail” :mango::mango::mango:

I can’t find anywhere else to put this so here it is.
I made a cross of ( Ghost Train Haze #1 x Cinderella 99 ) x Frisian Duck. Here it is on the far left next to two 88 G13 x Hash plants.

The bottom branches were taken for clones so it has a Christmas tree shape naturaly . Otherwise it grows very similar to the G 13 x Hp.
I apologize for the poor quality of these pictures.

These pictures do not convey how truly resinous these flowers are. If you threw them against a wall they would stick to it.

In my past, the few pearls or wheat type plants never did much for me.
As I’m doing the scoping of each plant, I guess, I’m more amazed that the 3 pearls/wheaties, with their levels of fragrances, that your nose just can not ignore, while scoping them.
I have 2- SSSTN (SuperSilveSourThaiNevil) pearls, and 1 Australian Out Back pearls.
The AOB, is to me, very fragrant, with a very sticky feel to the bracts, and those scents, are very profound, with a strong Playdough, Lemon, maybe Mango, but I’ve only had Mangoes a few times in my life.
It’s a unique aroma, to me anyway.
I’m so excited for these to finish up, but I’m in no hurry at all.
The Pearls or Wheaties, your call:
SSSTN -F plant: She almost got axed in early veg as a runt.
Ok, so I’ll get 6 joints off of it, LOL!

SSSTN- E plant:

The AOB-A plant:

Anyway, I’m loving OJD’s work with both of these strains.

Not all that glitters is gold… It might be haze stems😄

I think Alpine Haze is usually around 70% shimmering lumber, but round 7 is over 90% with all kinds of funky calyx’s from slouchy bean bags to elongated spears. A few almost the size of a pencil eraser.

Saturated dank Frankincense is the common link, no leather, liver or church pew. Just frank. From there different combinations of mango, spruce and ozone with haze effervescent.

Happy Father’s Day weekend to all you nutty haze heads:pray::v:
