Wanted to see everyone’s viewpoint on this. I’ve tried my hand at some bag seed but have learned genetics plays a huge role in growing something successful. To be honest I’m kinda scared to order seeds due to not trying to be suspicious to any kind of authorities. Am I overthinking this or?

I don’t think mailing you “souvenir” seeds matters even in an illegal state. It’s you germinating them in that state that matters

Prepaid credit card, dont go crazy on your first order in case they are no show. If they show then order away.

I moved to a legal state recently but for an entire year prior to moving I was ordering seeds and THCA flower to my address in Nebraska with no issues.

Seeds for the time being are considered legal as a hemp product since they contain less than .3% delta9 THC.
I really like greatlakegenetics for a seedbank options. Hard to find a breeder there i wouldnt grow. They also do cash by mail as a payment option, which i generally use for the extra freebies.
There are also some really good deals from sponsors on here and plenty of generous people who are willing to give if you participate in the community.
Is there any particular strain you’re looking for?

Not really looking for anything in particular as I’m a little all over the place when it comes to favorite strains. Just good genetics to start with really. I’m more interested in the breeding aspect of things. Currently running a breeding run out of bag seed right now just to get more seed to play around with.

I’m in a shit cannabis state, I’ve bought seeds since 2002 or so, from all over the world.
Almost always with my cash, folded inside a cover sheet of paper.
I had 1 no show, in all that time.
I never send more money than I’m willing to lose.
Just double check your address is perfect on the envelope, BEFORE sending it out.
Your buying souvenir’s right?

First time I ordered seeds through the mail (maybe 8-9 years ago), I was paranoid as hell. Thought for sure the FBI was gonna kick in my door next week.
Nowadays, I don’t think there’s much to worry about. There’s still lots of open loopholes (for now anyway, that may change next year) and even the USPS regulations state “we don’t really care anymore if they’re hemp or cannabis” (paraphrasing of course)
You should be ok. Just, if you’re in a prohibition state, don’t tell anyone you’re growing!

Seeds are technically legal. They are equivalent to hemp products. According to the DEA it is perfectly legal to order and receive seeds via the USPS, FedEx or UPS, so let it rip.

Again according to the law, pot seeds are 100% legal to ship anywhere in the US. Hell you can go up to any cop in any state and show off 10s,100s,1000s of seeds and the cop is legally unable to do anything.
I have had zero issues getting seeds to me in the mail…Outside of the random lost flip the postal gods take. You will be fine, do not worry. I have even gotten seeds in the mail from Lebanon with no issues.
