Observing and learning how to dial it in
My hypothesis/theory/concept is as follows:
The irrigation cycles need to be timed to when the last water molecules are being absorbed or evaporating.
Just before they start drying.
Currently in this stage, im trying to keep the environment consistently at 78-81F Ambient, and 60-70RH.
Which should give me a healthy leaf surface temperature around 75-78, subtle fan wind.
I am at 5.4-5.8 pH @ 0.1E.C/ 10-50 PPM of my nutrient Solution (thats another post)
130-160 PPFD, giving me a DLI of 6-10, over 20 hours on, 4 hours off, for these seedlings.
considering they are seedlings and dialed to the needs, keeping waste, water usage down, and in effort to aid in preventing clogging.
Distilled Water as Base for the Water Chemistry.
Ive observed, after even 20minutes off on the pump, in the current environment, on seedlings, the roots still have water droplets on their surface, so ive been going between -2/+2 minute Incremental Differences, and Observing the differences and Patterns.
This is my First “high pressure” aero attempt, the pump is rated for ~70PSI, 4-8bar, supposedly around 40um Droplet Size.
I am still trying to observer and data log, and adjust as i think and Hypothesize as needed.
I am also trying to figure out the brief and once extended lights off period, irrigation cycles.

Ive also pinched the end of the tap root on the rightside seedling, and left the left one untouched. (Like topping a plant, bottoming the root system for growth manipulation)
I observed it increased lateral branching as i hypothesized, it also seems to be growing slightly faster than the unpinched one.

Got them while i was asleep…
But not awake while fucking with the system trying to “tune” or “dial” it in more lol.
Maybe i just need to be
patient again and leave it alone.
Mist cycle: 3 seconds on, 6 minutes off currently.
