They are extending more energy into making beans.
A full regimen of nutes should still be used.

They are getting their energy and stored goodies from the leaf.
I guess, because most people grow their plants for smoking and not seeds the nutes regimen stops early as not to compromise the quality of the smoke. IMO

Just pulled a couple of the plants put to check the progression of the seeds. They’re definitely there…still pretty green. At a glance I’m guessing 300+ seeds…how many of those are mature…anyones guess.

This is the blue lights…still has green seeds, but looks like it’s really close to end of life. I’ll let it die in the pot as long as the seeds finish. Guessing ~100 seeds on this one alone.

You’ll probably end up with more seeds than you expect. I’m always blown away by how many seeds can come from inside one bud.

I’m just doing a very, very rough estimate. The lowest bud on the blue lights looks like it’ll have about 10…so I just multiplied bud sites x 10…even the top cola which is probably holding a lot more than 10 seeds…lol.
My 1000 centrifuge vials should be here any day…so at least I know I’ll have enough.

The Afghani smells like my teenage years! The weed we would get had the same type of smell…deep, earthy and pretty skunky!!! Super excited!!!

Should be more than enough to go around.
The plants are looking finished but majority of the seeds are still green…should I just let the plants go until they basically die in the pots?..hoping another 2 weeks max but dont want to put the time and effort in for a bunch of premature seeds…will definitely let them go longer if need be…but also want to free up some space…

2 weeks sounds good then hang them upside down to dry them slowly - I think they still mature a little while they are drying

Sorry, not quick dry…but when I dry my buds, I like to leave them for at least 7 days. If I dried the buds with seeds in my bedroom, they would dry a lot faster…2 maybe 3 days rather than 7. Drier in my bedroom than the room with the grow.

lol thats a lot different .I would think no… but i would also err on the positive side and let em dry longer…cuz they gifts…
