African landraces and heirloom thread

Lovin the Zulu link. I wouldn’t exist if a zulu nanny hadn’t stashed away two little girls during that battle under a carriage. My ancestors were 100% there. Nothing but props to the zulu winning that though! Also very grateful to that nanny.

Quick piq of Kitsune blessing some of the Madagascar/Zamal flower from Roms/Atao Seeds.

This is really special stuff, can’t say that I’ve found anything on par with this in the commercial or medical market since a few years ago.

It carries a toulene and carrot gunpowder flavor profiles - some are only toulene. Very reminiscent of my experience with the St Vincent Island flower I tried last year. Some phenos are more energetic than others but it generally has a rather relaxed, stress relieving, irie vibe with clarity and creativity forthcoming with a cerebral euphoric experience. She stopped pumping out new pistils a few weeks ago on 4/5 phenos after starting the journey in March/April from seed.

Will retrieve more pics later.

It was a tough season, every possible pest was present I think and the ladies took em in stride. Tried to bring in cavalry with californicus, lady bugs, daddy long legs and lace wing eggs. With that being said, I didnt expect them to stay alive or produce much of anything with all the pressures.

Did I find a keeper? Too early to tell, but really happy with the potential I’m experiencing in early smoke tests of these genetics - definitely head and shoulders above 95% of the cash crops that pass as medical or rec in New England.

Excited to be able to run larger numbers of this particular line and putting them in the ground or larger containers to let them get super mature. Also very curious to see how the other landraces in the area express.
