As the relative humidity dropped, it became easier to dry and cure.
Hello guys, one more update 04/11:
There are 5 plants left in the guerrillas, the temperature is milder and has a lower RH, around 80% …
Finally the courier delivered my 60x microscope.
I believe it is almost, maybe a week or less, the trichomes are starting to turn white …
Does anyone see this too?
I am feeling alone, a month ago there were so many plants to take care of, and now …
I also received some gifts, thanks @corey, @Kcity87, @Eagles009 for the trust, I am getting ready to start in the countryside …
As soon as these beans burst, I will publish everything here and mark you …
Hug…
Those blue cookies wanted to grow right to my lights. They are gonna love that real sunshine. Should grow you some beasts outdoors! I’ll be following along! My pleasure. I think it’s cool as hell that some beans I had in my hands are now getting dropped in another country.
I’ll be here watching bud! I’m also very interested in seeing how these seeds grow in your climate. Good luck and happy growing!
Ye I join the clan is really looking forward to your next grow.
And thanks to the guys who keep this great group going
This is what OG is all about and I’m happy for you,
Obrigado amigo
This is the longest flowering plant, it was pruned once and has two tops, 17 weeks in bloom …
two photos of the same plant
thanks @Panamajock for the encouragement friend …
Now I am going to dedicate myself to the construction of an internal cultivation and land preparation environment for next spring in the southern hemisphere …
@Shanti-ri advised me to build a hybrid system, sun and artificial complement to vegetate …
Have you seen anything like this?
Looking good mate, I use supplemental lighting through veg(an extra 6hrs) before I leave them out in the 12/12 to flower. You don’t need any heavy duty grow lights, CFL’s work fine. I bring mine inside now but I used to have the lights go on with a timer outside but the amount of insects that attracts is insane, so if you are doing it outside or in a green house I recommend a net between the plant and lights. Obviously equatorial landraces don’t need the extra 6 but this technique allows you to grow more of a variety of shorter flowering varieties. Hit me up if you have any questions
@Gugumelo thanks I have also been inspired by you
Aloha From Hawaii
Man, I’m glad you opened my eyes to the insects …
I was concerned only with the temperature.
I’ll explain better:
the place is indoors, next to the roof, in this area I intend to keep vegetables. It is next to the water tank.
Flowering will be over the water box, protected by a low roof, with translucent tiles, so that a drone will not be able to identify it.
In Floração, is there a need to complement the lighting? Would it end faster? or is it not worth the cost benefit?
Gugumelo Hola amigo.
Ye as Ian said supplementing light can help in Equitorial zones ( some big grows are done in Colombia this way.
I use my wardrobe for seedlings, clones and to take my plants through the veg time…then they are grown outside or in the greenhouse.
I use a little HLG 65 grow light which is great for young plants and economical to run…
Ye strip lights are fine as well …
Another thing is I use smart plugs …so I can control my lights from my mobile phone …but then again you need to have a internet connection.
I then move them to a bigger light for more vegging …but most days , I take them outside in the sun…then bring them inside ( searching for any bugs first)
With these new strains your going to use …a little supplement lighting will go a long way …Loads of info on OG about lighting…even buying and making your own supplement lights.
I finally depending on the height etc of the plant …it’s out to the greenhouse for stretching, sexing and of course flowering.
I hope this helps and I’m sure Ian or other growers …will help as your grow continues…personally it’s the least I can do after the time you have spent entertaining LaoL with your last grow.
Happy growing …and please stay safe …with Corona running rampant in Brazil
Edit…I meant to say …this method I use …ie every month I put some into flower, then the smaller ones in veg move under the bigger light…and every month I chit new seeds…so I have a perpetual grow going…when I harvest…few weeks-month ( depend on strain) I be harvesting using clones and a wee re veg here and there. ,again…I’m still perfecting this system …but pleased so far.
You found yourself a 17-week plant! That’s the one you want to take some cuttings off of to make some seeds next year. Hit it with the latest Male you find next season… if you are able to do that. That’s great that you’re still able to find plants that flower so long. You should be able to breed that back out of the strain and return this old variety to its former glory.
Bud rot we all been there…here oct- sometimes Jan…the rain comes down,at the beginning of the wet season …it’s ok …just a downpour in the afternoon …but further on it can be like a monsoon…I lost a lot of bud last year. Just now is the time for flowering.
Ps Upstate …I’ve marked this into my calendar for when I get my PR Seeds…don’t want them flowering in the rainy season.
Good idea. The rainy season would not be good for any budded plant
Damn they send drones up to look for crops? Sounds like a good way to spend the people’s money, that’s shit!
CFL’s don’t give off much heat at all and I’m using them to basically keep the girls awake for the extra hours during veg so I am relying on the sun to do most of the work for me. Are you getting some sun or this will be completely indoors?
I really enjoy the constant staggered harvest glad you do too mate
One of the joys of life…ye love my hood.
Saludas amigo
Get a crossbow ja ja …if not a air to air missile …
