Alaska Morbloom WTF?

I grabbed a bottle of this today as it’s 0-10-10 and thought it would be great to use with mega crop to boost my PK ratios.

I mixed a test batch at half strength of what they recommend on the bottle and it came out to 1040ppm (tap water plus ~900ppm). That seems crazy high for only half strength. It also brought the pH down to 4.5!!?! Like WTF lol

So I tossed that batch and mixed some at 1/4 strength (5ml/gallon) and it gave 420 ppm and about 5ph. Thats my tap water plus roughly 250ppm. I add another 5ml to the gallon and the ppms are again 1000.

How is this even physically possible? The first tsp raised it by 250, and the second raised it an additional 500+??

I’ve now mixed and tossed 3 batches with the same results, can anyone explain how this could happen?

Also has anyone used this stuff? Any tips would be nice, I’m considering just chucking the bottle lol.

That’s some crazy shit those reading are before your adding mega crop or after mixing both?
Doesn’t make sense it jumps that much what’s your tap water at ?

Nope that’s just morbloom alone. Tap water is about 175ppm. Tap water + 5ml/gallon morbloom is ~420ppm, tap water + 10ml/gallon morbloom is 1000+ ppm. Impossible, no?

And before anyone says it, yes I’m a bit high haha. I’ve done this three times now to make sure I didn’t mess something up… IT’S BLOWING MY FREAKING MIND lol

Very weird I’d start with the 5 mil then add a few drops at a time till you get it where you want has to be some serious potent shit .

Any chance separation could of occurred? Wondering if some kinda of chemical reaction is taking place can’t comment much more cause the whole PPM thing is over my head anyways! Lol

Ya if I do use it it’ll be very sparingly. Keep in mind that this stuff is sold at hardware stores etc. Made me laugh to picture old Mrs Jenkins hitting her rose bushes with 0-10-10 at like 2000ppm and 4.0ph!

@Tinytuttle could be possible for sure. I made a point to really shake it up after seeing this the first time, but who knows?

What are you worried about? In flower mine get 1400-1700ppm of gh flora series and they love it. As for your last comment rose bushes long for an acidic environment so a 4 ph wouldn’t hurt them in dirt at all lol

I really overfed my mega crop last round and am being very careful to avoid it this round. They’re showing no major deficiencies (some want more calmag) at around 1000ppm where I’ve been sticking so I don’t want to mess with it too much.

I flushed them tonight with straight water and runoff was 1600-2000ppm so they’re definitely at or near their maxes…salts have been accumulating.

Good to know about roses, if I don’t use this stuff inside I’ll feed it to mine!

I wouldent use it is because of based of the ingredient list, there grow is alright but there is much better stuff out there
