I had a 1200 gph in there for about 10 years, it finally wore out last year, replaced it with this unit.
Total water volume in system is about 600 gallons.
From what I have read is that you want to be able to turn the water at least twice per hour.
Hey there OG, I got to thinking it would be a good idea to get some input from folks on what I should grow next, from the seeds that I have on hand. We can serve it up Hydro, Aquaponic, or in the dirt style.

Roughly 25 days left till this grow is in the dry tent.
Blue dream, is really pointing out that a second trellis would have been nice. The top buds got so heavy quite a few flopped over. So a bit of support was needed.
CW and DD are looking quite interesting as well. The bud structure on CW is wild.
Put a few cuttings out in the aquaponics area.
The other cuttings I put in the aquaponics are getting some buds.
Inside grow is getting nice.
Would love to see the big bertha! ![]()
I am planning on giving her a try for next seasons outdoor grow. according to what i know of her, that’s what she’s built for. ![]()
do you know how early/ late she finishes? i just got a flip aswell ![]()
she is supposed to run about 10 weeks in flower. That she does well in Hot and Humid conditions, And has the potential to be a very large tree when run outdoors.
Gave the outdoor aquaponics girls (cuttings)pretty solid haircuts today. We are getting to a time of year in my area where could be lots of rain. Gonna try and manage them to give as much air circ as possible.
Fair Warning, now entering a green light district, avert your eyes if needed.
Why the green light?
I use it when i need to go into the grow room during “dark” periods, from what i have been told, the green light spectrum does not mess with the dark period (to avoid stress, herming, etc)
I run my 12 hour light cycle at night as during the daytime in the summer my air conditioner cannot keep up with the lights on inside and 90 degree weather outside.
The Summertime Blue Skunk shed grow is cut, dried and curing in its jars.
Was really picky on what made it to the drying stage, and what went to trim for butter and edibles.
Roughly 13 half gallons of the three varieties.
5 for some really nice buds out of blue dream.
6 and a quart jar of Cosmic Witch, which in spite of some very odd looking bud structures produced a large amount.
And sadly only two jars for Doughnut Donna who ended up being crowded out by her massive neighbor.
Also produced about 2 shopping bags full of popcorn sized bud from the lower branches that went straight to trim for butter.
Little bit of early testing on the blue dream and I’m happy happy happy.
Now for the aquaponics grow.
Two sets of clones went into the system
First set is coming into home stretch, plants were pretty small when I moved outside and they went into flower. These plants have struggled a bit, I think with lettuce chromasis, have been keeping a box fan blowing on them to try and pre-empt any bud rot, but it’s still been very humid.
Second set of cuttings grew out for a few weeks inside before moving out, they are much more robust. Am seeing some signs on these guys of Cal mag deficiency. Am going to top dress with a bit of Cal mag to try and help them, for next seasons aquaponics grow am going to add some oyster shell and Epsom in with the coco soil mix in the pots.
Right on man, that’s a hell of a harvest!! ![]()
