All of the Bodhi gear I've grown in one thread

So I’m gonna copy @syzygy here and just put all of the Bodhi stuff I’ve grown in one thread, hence the title haha. The only thing that sucks is that I used to be suuuuuuper-weird about deleting things, so I don’t have any pics of the Gold Star f4, the SSDD, the Clusterfunk, The Fuzz, the Prayer Towers, my first run of both the Goji and the Apollo 11 f4’s (although I randomly have a few pics of one freak outlier Goji I grew during that run and one outlier Apollo 11 f4 from my second run of those seeds, in addition to plenty of pics from the second time I grew Goji), the Tree of Life and probably a few more that I’m forgetting.

And here’s my first grow of Goji and Mountain Temple: Bodhi Goji Og And Mountain Temple - THCFarmer For some reason, I still have a lot of pics of those Mountain Temples but only a few pics of one of the Gojis from that round and no pics of the other one, even though I posted plenty while I was documenting that grow. Weird.

Anyway, let’s get started.

Here’s the one Apollo 11 f4 that I have pics of, which was the outlier and didn’t grow anything at all like the other four or five Apollos that I’ve grown:

I’m thinking she was a C99 leaner, because most of the other ones I grew had a zig-zag meristem, which is apparently a Genius trait. They also didn’t have massive gaps in between internodes like the one pictured above does, although she did have the “rotting pineapple/Cheetos” smell that all of the other Apollos did, so I dunno. Anyway, here are some closeups:

Here’s four Big Sur Nigerian x NL2 that I tested for Bodhi like four-and-a-half years ago. I really, really fried them with fulvic acid that round, totally fucked the plants up, but they still put out some of the best smoke I’ve ever blazed. He shoulda released these seeds.

Man, I just realized that I also tested the Mendo Purps x SSDD that same round and I don’t have any pics of those plants at all. I really don’t know what I did, but I must’ve just deleted a shitload of pics one time, probably in a drunken stupor or something.

Anyway, I’ve planted eight seeds of Bodhi’s Soar over the course of two grows and this is the only female I’ve ended up with:

Here’s two Cherry Trances:

Pinball Wizard I grew that same round:

I really liked the high on both the Cherry Trance and the Pinball Wizard, but the smell and flavor were off-putting enough for me to not be interested in growing any more Wookie crosses. Most people would probably really dig the way they tasted, though, I’m sure it was just me haha.

Here’s that one freak outlier Goji from the first time I ran those seeds:

She had pretty thin leaves, at least compared to the other Gojis that I’ve grown, and she didn’t stretch at all. Having said that, she was easily the most “goji berry-tasting” plant of any of the ones that I’ve grown/smoked.

Here are two Dread Breads I grew:

One Imperial Majesty:

And another Imperial Majesty:

I grew Larry Lotus twice, but I only have pics from the second run, so…

Here’s three Silver Mountains I grew at the same time as those Larry Lotuses:

That one was obviously very floppy and also finished up a lot faster than the other two, chopped her on day 58 and these other two on day 67, which might’ve been a little early even, but whatever.

You can see there was a decent amount of variation between those three. Also, I can’t remember which one it was right now, but one of them ended up smelling EXACTLY like pink bubblegum, which I wasn’t expecting at all.

For some reason, I have pics of the Mountain Temples that were chopped in early January 2017 in the same folder as the Larry Lotus and Silver Mountains that were chopped in spring of 2020, no idea why, but I guess I’ll post those now, too.

I guess I deleted all of the closeups of that one. What the fuck was I thinking? Here are the other two MT’s:

That Big Sur x NL2 looks killer

Haha, uhhhh, actually they look horrible, but thank you. Despite my best efforts to destroy them with fulvic, that smoke did turn out pretty unbelievably good. Like I said, I wish Bodhi woulda released that one, but he said he didn’t make very many seeds of it. Not sure why he woulda sent them out as testers if he didn’t plan on releasing them, but whatever. I really enjoyed smoking them, anyway haha. Still have a couple seeds of that one, I should plant them and take cuts.

Do you have a favorite out the out of the strains you’ve grown so far?

Ummmm… I dunno. I loved that Tree of Life (might as well post the three shitty pictures I have of that one now):

I took those three pics with my phone, which is weird because I never take pictures with my phone, and at some point deleted the dozens and dozens and dozens of pics that I took with a real camera that I used for the grow log. Weirdness, for sure.

Anyway, I dunno, I’ve loved a lot of them. That TOL was great, the Mountain Temple was great (really oughta plant some more of those soon), I loved the Dread Bread. And the Apollo 11 (although I didn’t find it to be any kind of “Sativa mind fire” like Bodhi described it). That Big Sur Nigerian cross was spectacular. I really liked the Golden Hashplant (I’ll get to those pics in a minute) and the Imperial Majesty and the Soar and… and… and… haha. There’s been very little of his gear that I’ve grown that I haven’t enjoyed, but I’ll let you know which ones those were when I post pics of them haha.

Seed pack / collection picture thread next?

Haha, what? Why? I definitely won’t be taking all my packs out of the fridge just to take pictures of them, but I guess I could list what I have. I kind of hate it when people do that, it seems so pointless, all like,“Look at all my seeeeeeeds…” but, coincidentally enough, I did finally update my “seed spreadsheet” this morning and printed it out. The last time I did that, a few years ago, was when I was,“Really done buying seeds now, I swear!” and then bought a bunch more packs. I got sick of all of the handwritten additions I made on the last printed list, so I cleaned everything up today.

I don’t really wanna list everything I have, though, for real haha. But I’m pretty sure you were joking anyway.

Haha, I know, I know! I’m gonna post the pics of everything (I wanna get that done first), then go back through all of my old grow logs, copy-and-paste the smoke reports and edit them back into these posts. It’ll be fun to read those really old smoke reports, back when I was still a contributing member of society (despite the cocaine haha) with a job and friends and shit, before I moved out to the suburbs and became a hermit.

Alright, here are the two Black Triangles I grew:

Those Black Triangles were not my favorite, @unomas, to the point where I actually sent somebody the rest of the, like, 19 seeds I had of that cross. It made the bones in my hands and feet hurt, not sure what that was about. That particular grow, my plants were overrun with aphids (you can see the damage on the full plant pics) and also, something hermed and seeded everything (yeah, that grow was a disaster haha), but I don’t think the aphids or the herm shit had anything to do with the way that weed smoked. I just really didn’t enjoy it at all.

Here’s the one Nikah plant I grew a while back:

And a couple Pura Vida f2’s from that same grow:

Those are pics of two different plants, even though they’re both labeled “Pura Vida #5.” I remember I fucked up when I was labeling them, guess I forgot to go back and correct it once I realized my mistake.

Here’s one Golden Hashplant that I tested for Bodhi a few years ago, planted eight seeds and only ended up with the one female :

I won’t be able to copy and paste the smoke report of this one, @nube, since this is one of the threads that fucking logic deleted from thcfarmer, so I’ll just give a brief rundown of her: insanely gooey flowers that literally oozed stickiness down the leaves. Smelled like a dirty wet carpet (dank, in the truest sense of the word), but tasted unbelievably complex and delicious. The longer she cured, the better she tasted. Hashy, lemon cleaner, all kinds of shit going on with that one. Good cerebral high initially, followed by a slightly more relaxing (but not couch locked) comedown. Really good weed. I still have a few seeds of that one, oughta plant those sooner rather than later, too.

Here’s a couple Smart Moves that were also run as testers at the same time as the Golden Hashplant:

Those pics are labeled day 50, but I don’t think I chopped her then. I can’t remember. However, the pics of the other Smart Move are labeled “day 63,” so I guess it is possible that I chopped the above plant on day 50. I dunno. Anyway, here’s the other one:

That plant ended up reeking of straight tangerine after she was cured for about a month, smelled really good. You can see there was quite a bit of difference between the two plants , though. That grow/smoke report was deleted along with the Golden Hashplant one, but I do remember really, really liking that second Smart Move. I don’t remember much about the first one, though… haha. I’m sure she was good. I was smoking those after we’d been quarantining for a month or so after COVID hit, which was a super-foggy (and drunk) time, so it’s not surprising that I don’t remember much about those plants.

Here’s a Goji I grew like three-and-a-half years after the first run:

That’s her on flower day 48 and here she is on flower day 70, when I chopped her:

She really got floppy haha.

She just would NOT finish up, so I left her in the dark for two days and that’s what she looked like when I opened the tent back up. She looked fine when I turned off the lights two days earlier haha. Anyway, because of that, I’m gonna post some pics from day 54 instead:

I really, really hated the smoke from this plant, @unomas. I’ll go back to the grow log and copy and paste the smoke report of this one, but let me just say that, yeah, I’m not sure I’ve ever disliked any weed as much as I disliked this one.

Anyway, finally, here’s the last of it, four Uplifts I grew the same round as that fucking Purple NL2:

Big sur Nigerian looks lovely! Very unique shame those weren’t released. What was the flavor like of the wookie crosses? I have some sun ras going which is why I ask. Nice detailed pictures sir

I don’t think those Sun Ra f2’s are gonna taste anything at all like either of the two Wookie crosses I grew, but the Cherry Trance had a very acrid, kind of cat pissy flavor. The Pinball Wizard kind of did, too, actually, along with a super-“fresh lemons” flavor that I don’t really like at all. I like “lemon candy/cleaner etc” flavors, but I’m not a fan of actual, real lemon flavor, not in my weed, not in my food, nothin’.

I did really enjoy the high on both of them, though. Good, happy, “up” smoke. Those two (and a pack of Silver Mountain seeds) were actually sent to me direct from Bodhi’s vault as a replacement for a pack of Dream Beavers that didn’t pop, which I though was really nice of him haha.

Thanks for the info, good to hear. I don’t care for acrid widow flavors either. Nice collection of bodhi grows you put together here. I’m just now getting into to the bodhi stuff so caught my interest.

Most if not all the SunRas I went through had a citrus background. My favorite were the woodsy (Cedar) citrus or the gassy citrus ones. I know Bodhi described the w15 male as having a lavender / grapefruit smell.
