The flowering girl
4 weeks into flowering…
Is it me or time moves slower when your girl is flowering LoL…
Do I have to defoliate at this stage, or later?
Or simply i don’t have to defoliate at all?
She’s packing lot of leaves…

I wouldn’t feel the need to pluck any of those leaves, looks like she’s getting plenty of light and airflow

Mars cookies indoor + some unknown sativa mini
I just flipped 3 plants to flowering, so the update …
This pic is taken after their first 12 hours of darkness…
Somehow I feel like the plants are happier than ever lol…

The flowering girl and her offspring
I noticed a mature seed in one of the dry calyx in her, i extracted the seed and planted it in another container just for the kicks…
And we have a lift off, I’m petrified of what this plant might be LoL…
I have no idea which pollinated which…
Maybe there are males in the open where i am, or maybe it was the hermie I had in the close proximity when I was a real noob…
Whatever it might be, i am not about to pass out on a first ever seed that was made by me

I once mentioned in this thread that I’m gonna DIY the carbon filter if necessary…
Well, one of the Gambian started to dank so bad that I had to move her indoor and do a carbon filter in emergency basis or risk being busted…
It’s just a simple 6" exhaust fan aligned with activated carbon and some old cloth…
But surprisingly, it does the job well and my house doesn’t smell anymore…

I initially made this to test whether the carbon i purchased filters the odour or not.
Since it does, I’ve kept this prototype. If there’s any guest in home I’ll just use it smoke on my terrace or somewhere…

The wait is real with this one…
Notice how the lower part of the plant is striped naked, well i smoked those…
It has been increasingly hard to score weed where i am, so the flowering girl has been my saviour during tough times…
Something is better than nothing right 🤷

Had to harvest one of the Gambian since it didn’t show any signs of life for quite some time…
I think I might have found the problem for its stunted growth, not enough root ball…
It still will be the one of the finest buds I’m ever gonna smoke, hell it is my first bud without any stem or seed. I humbly thank @Alaskagrown for that…
PS: if you are reading it on 2023 or after don’t be disappointed (t’is but my first harvest), keep reading there are (will be) some fires 
down the line…
