As stated in an amateur botanist looking for cheap readily available cultivars that are good for pain reduction. I’m looking to start growing for my farther with severe back pain and my grandparents. Any help in the right direction for cheap or even free seeds would be greatly appreciated. I’m new here so if this isn’t allowed please let me know and I’ll take it down, thanks everyone
Welcome to the best site in the world. Hang around and participate. You’ll have too many seeds b4 u know it.
Peace
Thanks brother, really looking forward to it
I am on the Back Pain Train as well. Strains with heavy body effects are most effective for me, usually indica leaning. Just about anything OG or Kush works great. What doesn’t work is many enjoyable sativas, as they are head focused, not body.
Check out @JohnnyPotseed , he has a sale going in right now.

Declare yourself “reliable tester” and show it, and you will get more free seeds from all sides at OG that you can grow in a life.
If I had your goals I’d lean towards an Indica based hash.
For pain people I know rate chemdawg and it’s crosses og and it’s crosses cheese and it’s hybrids also Hindu kush and Afghan kush any of those should help hopefully
GDP, Chem, GG4

Welcome to the community. Have you ever grown cannabis before? Do you have a plan and equipment for indoors or are you doing outdoor? I grow my own back pain meds and will say most indicas are very good for pain relief.
I found that more sativa leaning strains provide the best relief bc they relax the mind and bring a sense of euphoria/peacefulness while heavy indicas can weigh me down literally and figuratively. Everybody is different though so the thing with cannabis you have to try and see before making a final judgment.
Yeah it can depend on the person I know quite a few who use it for arthritis and fibromyalgia among other things and they can’t stand sativas so as you said best to try both sides to see what agrees with you suppose it depends what kind of pain your treating as well
Traditional hash or charas would probably the the extent of concentrates besides RSO I would go to. I rarely press or wash and if I do it’s for persy use. I’m mainly growing for my family (not that I don’t smoke ofc) but my priority is keeping my family in good hands as out here on the east coast not everything is so kosher legality wise, and it’s ridiculous how many people are paying for botrytis or WPM flower. I’ve even seen moldy rosin around me. It’s time for me to step up and provide for my people
My fathers got some pretty messed up discs in his back from being a lifelong handyman, my grandfather (a Vietnam vet) has career related issues the main one stemming from being attacked by a fer de lance after repelling from a helicopter in South America during a training operation resulting in breathing complications mixed with usual combat related symptoms. My dad prefers flower and my grandfather prefers edibles or sublingual products since he has lung problems. Any recommendations would be much obliged
I’ve grown a couple with mild success, though through this forum I’m hoping to become at least as half as good as you guys one day. I’ve got both equipment for light assist and indoors, but currently Ive only got a critical banana clone growing under my 600W array
Hash made from Annuaki Genetics Pink Lemonade #2 is a good quick nip it in the bud pain reliever goes right to the source in a wierd way makes your part of the body and the brain not communicate for a bit and takes your mind off the pain. You get warm rushes that pass over you in a calming wave you feel all the way to your butt bone
God I just wanna take a whiff thru the screen
Think Pink Grapefruit Country time lemonade with a backend of cat piss
That sounds amazing, what size pot do you have that big ol girl in?
