He’s not 100% pit bull, but as we’d call him here, He’s an F1 Alaskan Malamute x Pit bull. So an Alaskan Pit? 92lbs of intensity all the time, @vernal knows what I’m talking about.!

@Sunvalley how variable are your dog;s personalities? 
Just curious what you’ve observed…any patterns…i.e. if kids resemble grandparents more than parents, etc.

Depends on the breeding… There are certain parents that throw themselves consistently… Others yes we see the grandparents coming out more… Or GGrandparent… Depends on the percentages of the inbreeding. I’ll get some pics later for a comparison

Adba sure has changed over the years. What are they promoting now besides paper pushing? Don’t answer that because I’ll answer myself.
$65 for a .5c worth of paper and ink.
The adba a faulty data base that filled paper hung animal. And they don’t care as long as you pay the registration fee.
Pit bulls where once selected for their gameness. Which includes smarts, athleticism, endurance and loyalty.
The adba no longer supports the fast lane dog. Instead they support culling of a pit bull because it bared its teeth.
The adba claim to be supporters of the pitbulls, yet every show dogs are banned for showing its fangs. True dog enthusiasts know that growing, fang display is a bluff technique used by dogs since thieve beginnings as a wolf.
It’s a dogs way of saying that he is scared, and willing to protect itself. Why wouldn’t after being put in a place filled with strangers and strange dogs.
Anyone who knows pitbulls, know that the most confident of them are very silent. And if a pitbull is making noise, it isn’t enjoying what it is doing.
I really miss the old dogs. The dogs that will give their souls for their owners.
Maybe after all the dogs shows, and pull competition are over. Maybe we can get over the bragging and boasting so we can all agree…. Because of my the adba, the “pitbull” is no longer America’s most beloved dog. The adba deceived people into bringing their pitbulls out of hiding… as they slowly targeted them and their owners 1 by 1. Now the adba tells you what to breed and how to breed it. The pitbull has never been that dog. On the top of the pack, it’s bring what you bring. And it don’t take long to see what you brought. No water, direct Rascal and direct skull crusher. That was a long long time ago.

It’s all about the almighty tall cash now to them… There are also a lot of people who register their dogs through other Pit Bull registry…the last litter that I’ve registered through ADBA was 25+ yrs. ago…

I’m sure you seen all the pitbull attacks in the news lately.
People don’t understand how these new pits are not the old dogs. I’m not going to argue what they are. I don’t care. I just know what they aren’t.
I remember the first rednose that I saw. It was a very light buckskin color. The dog was almost white, but you could barely see the twany color.
The looked like little devils because of their amber eyes. For a long time I thought they were pups because they only got the size of a small beagles.
Red/ chocolate dogs didn’t come out until labs got popular and were mixed with every thing. This was around 83/ 84.
I have never seen dogs like those again. It was similar color to this one in the pic, but half it’s size. And nose was a little darker.
