Nice! I’m jealous! Enjoy it. Last time I was there was… 2000/2001 maybe? I’m sure a lot has changed, but it will still be amazing.

In internet you have maps with coffee shop locations and adresses, to use GPS and go where you want with a bike
If your holidays are start January, just after Christmas/end of the year, weed in general will not be cured enough. it’s a high demand period because tourists were here and suppliers had no time to cure well the weed
If it’s end January, weed will be better because they are low tourists.
Best weed is not in central Amsterdam coffee shops were most of tourists go.
Rent a bike and go far. Amsterdam is beautifully to visit
If you search sativas : dampkring coffeeshop : A5, C5, mexican haze, NYC piff, Neville Haze have good reputation
- hash : bluebird coffeeshop have good reputation. 1st hulp coffeeshop have good marocan hash in general.
But if you have money, a lot of coffee shops have good weed/hash. Boerjongens, green house, barney, amnesia, grey area, 1st hulp, 420 cafe etc…
But even small coffeeshops can have good weed/hash
Some tips :
- smell and appearance means nothing of the smoke.
- all the american weed is not american weed. It’s grown in Europe and they put american package, but you will never have the USA organic weed : just european hydroponic weed grown with PGR and it’s not the real strain
- don’t go by hyped names if it’s small coffee shop. It’s fake. Take a good marocan hash or good amnesia instead
- good black hash/charas is difficult to find. You will find everywhere malana cream/nepalese/kashmir/afghan, but good one is rare. Maby bluebird and kashmir lounge have it.
- some coffeeshops make partnership with spanish clubs and have better organic weed. Grey area coffeeshop is one of them selling good weed from GWA social club.

Amsterdam is awesome
Smoke joints ( bring your own ) , smoke cigarettes , drink alcohol , puff on hooka , all while eating a meal , do it all at wonderland cafe
Get seat well inside , as close to door is cold , like all cafes ( door open and close regularly sometimes people when they leave don’t close front door behind them )
Most importantly if bringing back tobacco , buy in city not airport and keep receipt ( uk peeps )

Best hotel if you got the cash
Victoria hotel , it’s on the damrak ( perfect for a base , safe and 2 mins from train station )
Plus swimming pool , sauna , steam room lol

One last thing : when it’s written gelato/wedding cake/etc…
In general it’s weed grown by people who just bought cheap seeds in bulk quantities with those names
So yes it can be wedding cake, but it’s far from what you expect
Majority of suppliers are not passionate growers who spend hours in cannabis forums learning good breeders/strains, etc.
coffeeshops need weed for tourists. They buy what they can with the contacts they have.
Some have good contacts, the big majority no and don’t need them. Because 95% of the tourists don’t know what is good weed and buy it.
But in all cases you will find good and bad weed/hash but your trip will be awesome
They have good street food too !

Look for the biggest que on damrak and buy some chips
Then hit a hot waffle with chocolate , fresh cream and strawberry’s , yum from bakery
