Angel Wingz
This thread is dedicated to my latest and greatest creation – Angel Wingz. Here you will find her creation story and ongoing saga.
This hybrid comes from two disparate branches of the weed family tree. The mom is White Angel(Hells Angels Kush x Krome’s The White). I made this cross over a decade ago, and she’s still going strong. The biker weed hard left hook has been civilized with creamy sophistication from The White.
The father is Sherb Cream Pie, a favorite top shelf strain here in Michigan. It grows vigorous, purple, and aromatic buds.
This cross created a seed line that is absolutely stuffed with hybrid vigor. Out of 53 test subjects, Angel Wingz(AGWZ) stands above all. We ended up with about a dozen individuals that were rated “very good” or better by our judges. I have kept the very best 4 and passed the others on.
As you can see, the dense buds finish purple with a thick slathering of trichomes. There is a dank undertone to the aroma that tickles the nose. The taste is a complex mix of old school Kush combined with a light sweetness tempered by a petroleum essence. The resultant smoke is thick, but not chokey. Great for my patients that physically can’t endure coughing.
The buzz comes fast and to the dome, with a full helmet effect. Subsequent puffs increase the head massage, followed by general body relaxation. Conversation, music, games and flavors all become enhanced. Pain starts to drift away as you begin to float.
As the joint becomes an oily roach, you can feel your frozen face and magic fingers working the back of your neck. Time stretches to let you appreciate old music like new again. Your brain is relaxed, yet hyper alert. Games reveal their underlying mathematical beauty. Conversations feel more nuanced and clever. Several judges reported aching ribs from laughing.
But here’s the thing. After you put it out, you keep getting higher. For over 20 minutes! This weed can seriously freak out old and new smokers alike. I know I have never seen a creep this strong in 40 years of flight testing.
This can lead to some discomfort for the uninitiated. The balloon float ride can get a little spinny for those with motion sickness.
The buzz lasts for around an hour and a half. At any time should you want to float higher, fire 2 is ready to take you there.
We call the effect “WIngz”.
The odd bit is that this buzz can not be found in the parents. I tried physically mixing buds from both parents together in different proportions, and got very high. But not anywhere near the power and effects of AGWZ.
I found one sister (WAGP3), that has a different vibe with a lighter Wingz effect, but packaged with a non purped bud and more old school OG flavor. I also kept a couple of interesting half sisters I’ll get into later.
I feel so lucky to have found this girl!
She’s not a production mule or the most beautiful, but who cares with a buzz like this!

So far I have passed out over a half pound in samples to a couple hundred folks. Almost all report very strong effects. A few said its strong but not that special. A couple said there was no effect at all – but they needed to go home NOW!
So what’s next?
I have converted half of all operational space to run this plant. Everyone else has been downsized, but I still hold over 20 other strains.
So I plan to grow a lot of her, and further perfect blooming her out. I really don’t have the facilities to reverse and cross her right now, but that will be my next goal.
For now I will use this thread to add pictures and information as it happens.
Thank you for checking out this plant I am so very proud of.
And as always, your questions and comments are welcome.
