last “strain B” is cut down and will be trimmed in the next 2-3 days. the in-ground ‘sherbert runtz’ is pictured below, 1 broken stem. excuse the photo, the camera on my phone is acting up w/ flash. it wasn’t even that dark out. i’m kind of bad with technology these days. potted ‘sherbert runtz’ is alright i guess, not pictured but a rub of the buds gives out a strong candy grapes smell. .
just trimmed the last of my “strain B”, outdoor. all that’s left are 2 sherbert runtz, one in a flower bed and the other in a pot. i’m letting the in-ground one last until the first frost, which surprisingly hasn’t happened yet, although we did get rain. the potted runtz will go back into my indoor tent as soon as i’m done using it for drying. the potted one doesn’t look so great but the in-ground is looking very promising.
still no frost yet which is rare. it drops down to 36 on wednesday night so we’ll see how things go.
looks like tuesday is the day. i’ll keep you all updated.
ahhhhhh. can’t wait til tomorrow’s chop. just bagged my last “strain B”. my only problem is that i let the buds get a bit too dry too quickly. and that’s the case with every batch.
in-ground ‘sherbert runtz’ chopped and will be trimmed in a couple days. potted sherbert runtz has been moved inside but isn’t looking so great.
so I just took in my potted ‘sherbert runtz’ plant indoors. i threw it in a tent under a decent LED. i know the buds are small and soft but they’re purple so we’ll see what happens. i don’t know how much time they have left. when i was tying them up and watering i got a whiff of what i would describe as “fruit loops”.
i’ll be trimming the other “sherbert runtz” in a day or two.
just trimmed up my outdoor sherbert runtz plant (not the one pictured above). only about 15 grams of tiny buds. purple and sticky though. such an annoying trim this time in trim jail.
last ‘sherbert runtz’ in the tent isn’t looking so hot. the buds are so small it’s hard to judge how much longer they need. i’ll have to find a jewelers loupe
It all depends on what you have in store for them, my opinion is to leave them be if you plan on chosing a single male and a single female to further a line, id like to see how the plant performs naturally, if i have the extra space time resources etc id take cuts and top them as well to see the difference. Just my ocd2 haha. Excited to see what you have in store man everything is off to a great start by the looks of it best of luck growmie
Edit:
Im a bit late to the party but still down to clown, pulling up a chair to follow along
thanks. that’s a very old post, those plants are long gone. i made my seeds with them a while ago
